Shuten Order has one of the most unique gameplay gimmicks of 2025, as each of the game’s five routes has a different visual style and mechanics from the others. The Ministry of Education route assigns players with one of the most difficult tasks imaginable: Romancing a girl. After five events of getting to know a girl, players will be sent into a confession where they need to make the right choices or face the consequences. Shuten Order – Confession Choices
The confession mechanic is a direct parody of other romantic adventure games like the Sakura Wars series. During these segments, dialogue will be frequently interrupted as the player is given several choices that they need to make within a few seconds. Making the wrong choice will raise a girl’s rage meter, if this fills up completely (Which happens after five bad choices), you will get a game over.
