When playing as Grace in Resident Evil Requiem, the player will almost always be low on resources and need to grab anything and everything to survive. Luckily, there are a few boxes containing antique coins and items. Unluckily, these are safes which you’ll need to know the combination of in order to open. While backtracking in this game is quite easy thanks to opening locked doors, whose to say you’ll survive that long? If you don’t want to take that chance or are simply rushing to get the “No Safe is Safe” trophy, feel free to follow our guide detailing all the safe combinations in Resident Evil Requiem.
All Safe Combinations in Resident Evil Requiem
There are five safes scattered throughout Resident Evil Requiem. Three of these are located in the Care Center that Grace begins in while the remaining two are located in the final area of the game. You do not need to locate the note containing a safe’s combination to open it, so feel free to rush toward them on a NG+ run. All safes will also have their combinations changed if you play on Insanity Difficulty.
Care Center Bar & Lounge Safe
The first safe you’ll encounter in the game is located on the second floor of the Care Center’s West Wing, in a room called the Bar & Lounge. In order to find the combination though, you’ll need to wait until you can access the office on the same floor and pick up a note on a desk there. If you just want to open the safe now though, here are the combinations
On normal difficulties the combination is: L10 – R80 – L30
When going through the game on Insanity mode, the combination of this safe will change to: R20 – L50 – R30.
Care Center Examination Room Safe
This second safe is located in the Examination Room in the Care Center’s East Wing. To find the note containing the combination make your way to the second floor hallway by the Leas Researcher’s Office. As for the combinations:
Input the following combination to open this safe: R30 – L10 – R50
On insanity difficulty the combination changes to: L50 – R30 – L90.
Care Center Basement Safe
The basement are you’ll be taking a short detour to during the story also has a safe within it. It is located in a small room near the forklift after you crawl through the vent from the workshop. As for the combination, you cannot find it as Grace but you CAN find it as Leon in the segment before this. In case you someone missed that note, here are the answers:
To open the safe, input this combination: R60 – L40 – R80
For those playing on insanity difficulty, try this combination instead: L70 – R50 – L20
ARK Sterilization Chamber Safe
After you leave the Care Center, you won’t find another safe until the final hours of the game as Grace and Leon infiltrate the ARK. This area contains two safes, whose combinations you’ll find near the area’s typewriters. As for which is which, here is the combination for the one in the Sterilization Chamber:
The combination to this safe is: R10 – L90 – R20
In insanity difficulty the combination changes to: L80 – R50 – L0.
ARK Monitor Control Room Safe
Only one safe left! Make your way down to the Monitor Control Room where you will find this safe. More likely than not you picked up this safe’s note right after the other one, time to input combinations one last time.
To open this final safe, you’ll need to input this combination: L50 – R60 – L80.
Like every other chest in the game, the combination to this safe will change on Insanity difficulty. The combination to this safe in that mode is: R20 – L0 – R70
