I’ve decided to make a complete guide for Kiuchi’s Palace in P5X, since I was a bit annoyed with some of the puzzles and their solutions. So, I’ve made a list with all of the puzzles that couldn’t be solved using just the Third Eye, alongside customized maps showing the exact location of all of the chests, boss enemies, Safe Rooms, and breakable objects for 100% progress completion and easy free loot.
Some advice before looking into this guide is to follow and complete the Traces of Dreams quest first, since you’ll get the C, B, and A-tier cards easily, and you’ll also get over 50% of the collectibles this way. After that, come back to the palace and follow this guide. Also, there are 8 locked chests, so bring 8 Lockpicks for 100%.
If you need any quick help with anything in the game, please hit me up on Discord, since I’m always available there!
Maps Guide
I’m going to start off by first showing off what icons I used for what. I used all of the in-game icons, to make everything easy to follow, but I changed their colors to make it easier to follow and pin point.
- Chest:

- Locked Chest:

- Shards of Desire:

- Puzzle:

- Boss Shadow:

- Destroyable Object:

Some important details:
- A Locked Chest requires a Lockpick.
- There are more puzzles than the ones shown on the maps. I only included the puzzle that aren’t part of the main mission and that require some guidance to solve, which can be found lower in the guide.
- Destroyable Objects are something you do not need to destroy. They just give you 600 Konpaku Gems. That’s all they’re worth, so just hit them if you see them, but, otherwise, you can just ignore them.
- You can click on images to enlarge them!

Third Eye Puzzles
During the tutorial you will learn to use the Third Eye to see hidden things. For some of the puzzles, all you need to do is use the Third Eye to see which items are highlighted and interact with them. For those, I will not write any solutions.
If you have any problems with them, just ask me on Discord and I’ll give you a quick solution.
Scoreboard Puzzle

After getting the C-tier Fan Card to access the area highlighted in the image above, with the doors to the south and north locked. There’s a monitor you can interact with next to the southern door.

After “talking” to the monitor, hearing something about the “score,” and making a thumbs up x 2 appear on the screen, interact with the two smaller monitors shown in the image above, which should show a scoreboard on the screen.
Once only those two TVs are activated, showing the scoreboard, both doors will open.
Central Exhibition Room Baseball Code Puzzle

A boss shadow will appear in main trophy room, right before the way to the 2nd floor, which you’ll have to defeat to even make the monitor for the puzzle work.

At the end of the battle, the Secret Keeper will tell you the solution for the puzzle (3 1 3 2 0), though you won’t understand it yet.
After getting out of the fight and interacting with the monitor with the little yellow tick on the map, you’ll activate the puzzle. If you look around the giant golden statue in the middle of the room, you’ll notice there are 4 glass boxes. Three of them have baseballs in them, and one has a picture.

Based on the number of baseballs on display, that box represents one of the bnumbers from the code. So, the solution is to interact with the small monitors in front of the baseball displays based on the number they represent.
If you want a simple solution using the map without thinking, go: lower-right, upper-left, lower-right, lower-left, and then upper-right to finish the puzzle and lower the golden bars keeping you away from the treasure.
Guarding Valuables Footsteps Puzzle
In the south-western part of the map, you’ll get a puzzle about a shadow “guarding Kiuchi’s valuables.” For this one, you just defeat the shadow and then use the eye to see which items the footsteps indicate the shadow interacted with.

The order you interact with them does not matter. You just need to interact with:
- the baseball caps on the wall
- the glove, shoes, three baseballs, and 2 bats to the side set
- the blue cap, bat, glove, and three baseballs set
- the uniform that says “Kiuchi” on it
West Exhibition Room TVs Puzzle

For this one, you just need to press on the exhibit tablet next to the golden grates whenever the K sign appears on all the screens.

Baseball Field Puzzles

After stepping on a few plates and moving a few platforms, you’ll notice a chest sitting on top of a platform that won’t come down simply by walking over the plate in front of it. What you have to do is follow the instructions on the TV under it.
So, for the example in the image above, you need to stand on both the 2nd and 3rd base at the same time. Simply pull the box over one of those two and walk over the other to lower the chest.
Baseball Field TV Puzzle

In the B-tier locked room with a baseball field, you’ll activate a puzzle by bringing down the middle platform.
To complete this puzzle, just push the boxes off of the bases, and run from the base to the right, to the one on the left base, and then to 2nd base, as shown on the TVs.
Baseball Keys
For the last room in the Training Hall you’ll need to gather 3 baseballs. They’re all very close to the room, and can be seen on the map with the yellow tick sign that usually appears for puzzles.
It’s very easy to find them and the puzzles here just require you to move around the pitching machine to hit any target you see.

How to Get to 3F and get S-Tier Fan Card

Complete all the thumbs puzzles on 2F and you should end up with a Pink Baseball. Head down to 1F and open the door shown in the image above.

Follow the path upstairs and head to the visible vent. Once you enter it, you’ll find yourself on the 3rd floor.

Once on 3F, jump across the room to the north and enter through the doors at the end of the space. The S-Tier Fan Card will shine on the edge of the pool to the left, as shown in the image above.

Puzzles
2F Electric Tile Puzzle

This one is relatively easy, you just have to pretend that the tiles you’re walking on are the ones on the opposite side.
You go to the GO sign and then walk on the tiles as if you’re on the opposite site, trying to reach the flag.
Also, for the last one, I think you’re supposed to take damage no matter what to get across.
2F Floor Tile Thumbs Puzzles

This one is probably the most stupid one out of the bunch. In the room shown in the image above, there are 3 thumbs you can hit to change the pattern on the floor. The thumbs you hit to show a pattern on the floor is represented by one of the rooms, and that is the solution for the floor tiles to get to the treasures.
Here are the solutions for each puzzle:
- Thumb Left Room

- Thumb Down Room

- Thumb Up Room

3F Thumbs Up Tile Puzzle
The first puzzle you’ll find on the third floor will be one where you have to step on the floor tiles in the right order to deactivate the electric barrier leading to a chest.

Outside of both the puzzle and reward rooms, there’s a board with a bunch of thumbs on it. Use Third Eye to see what is shown in the image above. That is the way you should walk on the floor tiles, as shown below.

3F Thumbs Doors Puzzle

In the southern side of 3F there are a bunch of doors with their thumbs combinations hidden. The actual solutions are hidden in the boss room to the north-east of this location, with one of those boards with a bunch of thumbs that you need to use the Third Eye to see.

The solution, which you can kinda see in the image above, is a bit complicated. So, here are the exact combinations you need to do to solve this puzzle:
- Thumb Left – Thumb Up – Thumb Down
- Down – Right (in the newly opened room) – Up
- Right – Down – Left
- Right – Left – Up – Down
3F Floor Tile Final Puzzle
The last puzzle before you can end the third floor is a floor tile one. You will have a room with two sets of interactible floor tiles. One will have red tiles that you can’t walk on and the other will be normal.
What you have to do here is follow the safe pattern from the one with red tiles on the normal one.

At the start, the one on the right has the inner tiles red, so this means you have to walk on the outside edge of the left one, as shown in the images above.

For the next ones you have to follow the same rules. I’ve also shown the solution for the second one just to make sure you got it.
After the third one, the electric barrier for the only inaccessible location will lower, and you can finish exploring Club 3F.
