In the large and dangerous world of Palworld, players will need to explore, build, and craft a lot of things to actually survive. One of the first things you need to do from the get go after you create your character is to craft a Pal Sphere that you will use to capture a couple of Pals. Unfortunately, you will need Wood, Stone, and Paldium Fragments to craft this item. Wood and Stone are easy to get resources, but Paldium Fragments are something that nobody could have any idea how to get. In this guide we will show you how to get a Paldium Fragment to start crafting a couple of Pal Spheres and capture your first Pal in Palworld.
How to Get Paldium Fragment in Palworld
There are two ways to get a Paldium Fragment in Palworld, and it is the same way you would go looking for Wood or Stone:
- Scavenge the Ground
- Mine Veins
If you walk around the map you might sometimes see a blue shard shining on the ground. Those stones are actually Paldium Fragments that you can just pick up and directly use for your next crafting recipe.
The best way, however, to collect and get a Paldium Fragment in Palworld is to mine blue Paldium deposits, as the one in the image at the top of this guide.
You could just hit the rock with your hands to get some, but the best way would be to craft a Pickaxe and then destroy the vein until you get some fragments.
Players can also get Paldium Fragments by mining stone deposits. For every 10 Stone they collect, they will also get 1 Paldium Fragment bonus.
Items that Need Paldium Fragments to Craft
Your main use for Paldium Fragments will be crafting Pal Spheres, but there are many items that require one or two of them to make, such as:
- Palbox – a special computer where you can deposit extra Pals
- Common Shield
- Alarm Bell – set the behavior of Pals in base
- Statue of Power – upgrade Pals and player
- Logging Site – Wood farm
- Stone Pit – Stone farm
- Crusher
- Hot Spring
- Feathered Hair Band
- Medieval Medicine Workbench
And that is all you need to know about how to get Paldium Fragments in Palworld. Check out other interesting Palworld guides and articles:
