Fate/Grand Order has had quite a busy year, having several collaborations with other Type-Moon properties and even two main story chapters. As the year approaches its end, another major event has been announced for November 2024: “Tear it Down! Mystery House Crafters: The Star Miners and the Wings of Sunrise!”.

The livestream held for this event revealed the final new servant foreshadowed in the yearly Fate/Grand Order silhouette showcase, and shockingly it was a 4-Star Lancer alt for the servant Van Gogh! This alt for the character is called Van Gogh (Miner) and has Arts AoE Noble Phantasm, making them a great servant for grinding out nodes.

Van Gogh’s Lancer alt wasn’t the only new servant revealed for this event though, as another completely new servant was revealed: Tutankhamun, more commonly known as King Tut! Tutankhamun will be added to the game as a 5-Star Archer servant.

King Tut’s Noble Phantasm, currently known as “???”, is an Arts AoE Noble Phantasm that is great at killing a single wave of enemies, but comes at a high price: Tutankhamun’s life.

Similar to the 1-Star Archer servants Arash and Nobukatsu Oda, this is a very situational Noble Phantasm that should only be used in emergencies or if you just want to get Tutankhamun off the field.

It is currently unclear how, if at all, King Tut will change the Fate/Grand Order meta because of this situational NP. The Fate/Grand Order community will likely begin experimenting in all possible ways to find out when the character releases.

Aside from adding new characters, the upcoming patch for Fate/Grand Order will also be adding an incredible QoL update which will allow players to switch out the append skills on their favorite servants. This will massively change the meta of the game as many servants had useless default append skills which can now be exchanged for powerful ones.

Full details on the new servants and QoL updates can be viewed in the following livestream link:

The “Tear it Down! Mystery House Crafters: The Star Miners and the Wings of Sunrise!” event and its corresponding gacha banners will be launching on the night of November 13, 2024, for the Japanese version of Fate/Grand Order. Fate/Grand Order is currently available to download for Android and IOS devices.
