Fate/Grand Order Ordeal Call 2 Updates Jeanne Alter’s Animations, Adds New Servants, and More

Fate/Grand Order Ordeal Call 2 Details

On the morning of March 20, 2024, video game publisher Lasengle held a live stream to give details on Fate/Grand Order’s next major story chapter: Ordeal Call 2. This livestream detailed new servants, animation updates, and craft essence changes.

This new story arc for the game will see the cast of Fate/Grand Order be put in a school setting similar to Hiroshi Hiroyama’s doujin “Chaldea☆Archive”. Naturally, this new setting will introduce us to several new servants and update the animations of others.

The first two new servants to be added in this chapter are the four-star Assassin servant Hassan of the Shining Star and the five-star Avenger servant Marie Antoinette (Alter). Both of these servants will be added to the game’s gacha immediately.

Marie Alter first made an appearance back in the 2020 Fate/Requiem collaboration. Making this one of the longest gaps between a servant’s first appearance and them becoming playable in the entire history of Fate/Grand Order!

Alongside these new servants, two servants who have been in the game since year 1 will be receiving long-awaited animation updates! As Jeanne D’Arc and Jeanne Alter will finally be having their animations updated! Footage of Jalter’s long-awaited animation update can be viewed below!

Alongside these new servants and updates, there will be small changes to the game’s craft essence gacha. As Awakened Will, a craft essence no one uses or likes to get from the gacha will be permanently removed from the game for the launch of Ordeal Call 2.

At the end of the stream, Lasengle and Type-Moon showcased and animated trailer for Ordeal Call 2. An upload of this trailer can be viewed at the link below.

Ordeal Call 2 and its corresponding gacha banners will be launching immediately as the stream ends on March 20, 2024, for the Japanese version of Fate/Grand Order. Fate/Grand Order is currently available to download for Android and IOS devices.
