Beethoven & Dinosaur’s Mixtape is a short interactive story experience that puts players in the shoes of a teenage girl reminiscing over her teenage years as she imagines the ultimate mixtape of songs to play over her experiences during it. This isn’t the type of game one would expect to have many missable trophies/achievements, but there is a surprisingly large amount of them. If you aren’t careful during your playthrough, you can easily find yourself needing to go back to the chapter select screen multiple times to get what you missed. If you are unsure about if you’ve already missed a trophy or just want to check a full list of them, then please use this guide detailing every trophy/achievement in Mixtape.

Mixtape – Full Trophy List

Before we explain how to get each trophy, let’s first list and go over how many of them are in the game. Mixtape has 27 different trophies, including the platinum. 22 of these trophies are optional and can be missed during your playthrough.

How To Get All Optional Trophies in Mixtape

Of the trophies in the above list “Goodbye, Stacey’s Room”, “Matching the Drapes”, “Eight Minute Odyssey”, and “Last Song” are automatically obtained during the plot. Every other trophy is optional, below is a guide going over each trophy in the order you would encounter them during a single playthrough.

Thrashed

During any skating section, you can press the X button to ollie. Jump over a car by doing this and you’ll get this trophy.

Front to Back

To get this trophy you’ll need to examine every object in all four bedrooms AND talk to Cassandra and Slater every chance you get between memories. Stacey needs to comment on the object for it to count, so wait until all dialogue finishes before examining anything. Objects you already examined will have their button prompt change from solid to dotted.

Not every object you can examine will appear the first time you’re in a room, after each memory check the room again to see if anything new you can examine has appeared. Objects that are in the hallways of houses also count toward this trophy, so don’t forget to check there too.

Here is a list of everything that you need to examine for this trophy:

French Connection

The game’s third chapter “The Kiss” is a sequence where you move two mouths with your analog sticks until you press the “That’s Enough” button. Keep the kiss going for a whole minute and you’ll earn this trophy.

Smooth Shopper

This is an easy one, just don’t run into any objects during the chapter “Shopping Cart Bomb”

Grunge Metal Alchemist

During the chapter “Ultimate Slushie” you can make a specific slushie as Slater to get some hidden dialogue and earn a trophy. There is actually a pretty neat way to figure out this recipe, but if you just care about the trophy make a slushie out of these flavors:

  1. Blue Crush
  2. Bubblegum
  3. Orange
  4. Lime

Cone Island, Baby

When skating to Cassandra’s house in the chapter “Skate to Cassandra’s”, make sure to hit 10 traffic cones for a quick trophy.

Skim Gordon

During the chapter “Skipping Stones”, aim your toss at the tyre on the right side of the screen. If your stone goes in, you get a trophy.

And It’s Outta There!

This is one of the hardest trophies to get in the game. When playing as Cassandra in the chapter “Softball” you need to hit EVERY baseball thrown her way. This is going to take multiple retries and a lot of practice, as you can’t press the button too soon or too late.

Triple Ply

When Tping the principal’s house in “Toilet Paper Attack” do not stop until his house has been covered with 50 different rolls of toilet paper. Make the whole house completely white.

It’s the Pigs, Darling

During the chapter “Floating with Sadness”, make sure you float directly into the various pig balloons floating through town for a quick trophy.

Instructions Not Required

When looking over the Minimaster in “Cassandra’s House”, quickly grab it with the right trigger, turn it over to remove the back, insert the two new batteries, then turn it over again, and push the power button. The timing on this is extremely strict so it may take a few attempts.

Don’t. Move.

During the chapter “Bodaceous Cretaceous”, Stacey will be able to take photos of her friends and the environment. This chapter is a longer one, so just make sure to stop every once in a while to take a few photos and this trophy will come naturally.

Appetite for Destruction

I imagine you’ll be doing this anyway, but just make sure you destroy every object in the chapter “Skateboard Explosion”

Paint It, Black, If You Want

Just quickly paint the door in the chapter “Door painting” to get this trophy. Paint it any color you want too, you’ve got time.

Leaves That Are Green

After painting the door, it’s time to speedily rake the leaves in the chapter “Leaf Sweeping”. Just get all the leaves out of the circle in 45 seconds to get this trophy.

Sofa King Fast

To finish off the trio of doing stuff fast in the woods trophies, it’s time to earn the Sofa King Fast trophy in the chapter “Couch Moving”. Simply bring the couch to the blue square in less than 30 seconds to make this one pop.

From the Hip

Just like the last few trophies, you’ll just need to complete a chapter fast for this one. Shoot all the cans in the chapter “Slingshot” within 30 seconds.

Dopplebanger

In the chapter “Starlight Video” you’ll take control of Slater and have to drunkenly walk around a video rental store. While you’re here, knock over every cardboard cutout for a trophy.

Tapehead Graveyard

Knocking over stuff is so much fun that the developers tied two different trophies to it. Knock 200 video tapes off the shelves to get this trophy.

Well, Take a Look at You

During the chapter “The Run”, successfully jump or slide through every obstacle in your way for a trophy.

Banned in Massachusetts

I imagine you’ll be doing this anyway, but make sure you activate all the fireworks during the chapter “Coastal Cruise”

Fight For Your Right

When taking control of Slater during the chapter “Party at the Ritz”, make sure you accept any and every item that party guests try to pass to you.
