Though there are many mechanics to make Limbus Company an easy, “idle” game at times, you will still have to put a lot of thought into your builds and team compositions, since it will matter for the harder fights. As you advance through the story, E.G.Os become more and more relevant, as they can completely turn around your battles if used at the right time. However, E.G.Os also have another advantage that many don’t really pay attention to: passives. All E.G.Os unlock a special passive ability at Tier 2, allowing you to get even more bonuses in battle. In this guide, we will explain exactly how E.G.O passives work in Limbus Company, also helping you figure out if they stack their effects or not.
How E.G.O Passives Work in Limbus Company
At the start of Limbus Company, all your Sinners get an E.G.O ability at Tier 3, with special passive abilities. E.G.Os are special abilities that you can activate in combat if you manage to collect all the Sin Resources that they need.
If you were to look at your Sinners and E.G.Os in the main interface, you would see that E.G.Os have something called passives along with the effects of the actual ability.
Once you activate an E.G.O ability in combat, the character that used it will also get the passive ability attached to the E.G.O. You can only get the effects of E.G.O passives in Limbus Company by using the E.G.O in combat, and the passive bonus will last until the end of the fight.
So, the moment you use an E.G.O, your Sinner will get the passives attached to the E.G.O for the rest of the combat encounter.
E.G.O passives don’t work before you’ve used the E.G.O or in the dungeon after finishing the fight. They are usually useful for boss battles and prolonged fights.
Do E.G.O Passives Stack in Limbus Company?
Yes, E.G.O passives do stack in Limbus Company. However, they have to be from different E.G.Os. If you use the same E.G.O ability two or three times in a fight, you won’t stack the effect of its passive.
Players can only stack the passive effects of different E.G.Os. So, it would be a good idea to get as many E.G.Os as possible for your team, since you can stack your Sinners with a total of 5 passives.
