Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road has multiple shops which sell equipment as well as items players can place in their Bond Town. These pieces of equipment can either be used to make your team stronger or gifted to characters that the player can potentially recruit to their team. Unfortunately, actually getting equipment can turn into a grind if you are a completionist who wishes to recruit every potential player for your team. While playing through the story naturally and completing sidequests will net you a lot of the game’s seven token currency types, you will inevitably run out. Thankfully the game has several methods that can be used to get more so you can continue that journey to recruit each and every student for your ever-growing team. If you wish to know these methods or simply want to keep track of where they are, please consult this guide on token grinding in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road – Token Grinding
There are seven tokens types in in the game. Vitality (Orange), Target (Light Blue), Friendship (Green), Dream (Yellow), Love (Pink), Zeal (Red), and Gratitude (Blue)
There are three ways to get tokens in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. RNG drops during soccer matches, playing through training minigames, and fighting battles. While playing soccer matches for drops is inconsistent at best, the other two methods each can be used to consistently get the tokens you want at a high speed. For the sake of simplicity this guide will be split into two sections. The first will detail which minigames are guaranteed to drop which token, while the second will be a table of enemy encounters and what rewards they are guaranteed to drop.
Training Token Drop Guide
Vitality (Orange)

The best way to get Vitality, the orange currency, is to make your way down to the Seaside Park and play the Tire Tower Dash minigame. During this training session you will need to alternate between pressing the L1 and R1 buttons on your controller while the players on your team drag tires across the beach. Each clear of this minigame on the highest difficulty will grant between 8 and 10 Vitality tokens.
Target (Light Blue)

In order to get a lot of Target, the Light Blue currency, fast you’ll need to get good at the Kraken Zigzag Dribble minigame. This minigame involves running past a lot of multi-colored krakens which will attempt to steal your ball if you run into them. You’ll need to carefully use the evade and breakthrough buttons to reach the goal in this minigame, but be warned that there is no invincibility frames after using them. You may well get cornered by krakens right in the middle of your dodge animation and lose because of this. Winning this minigame on the highest difficulty will always grant between 8 and 11 Target tokens.
Love (Pink)

Love, the pink currency, can be obtained in large quantities by grinding the Sasanami vs Raika Dance Battle training minigame. To replay this minigame just make your way to the Special Training Portal located by the dance club’s locker room at Nagumohara Junior High. This minigame is a simple rhythm game where the player must time their button presses to the music. Like the other training minigames this will grant between 8 to 10 of its primary token currency.
Friendship (Green)

The green currency, Friendship, is by far the easiest one to grind for in the entire game. Not only is there two training types that gift it but the player is guaranteed some each time they win a Friendly Match at their school. The two training types that gift it are the Hecaton Stairway at the School Road and the Ramen eating training at Downtown Nagumohara.
Dream (Yellow)

There are two training types which gift Dream tokens and they can both be found at the school’s baseball field. They are the Gatling Kraken Keeper and the Gattling Kraken Advantage minigames. Both of these involve using the D-pad of your controlling to block balls being launched at you at maximum velocity. This is over in about a minute and always grants a decent amount of Dream tokens.
Zeal (Red) and Gratitude (Blue)

Unfortunately, because Zeal and Gratitude are referred to as rare currencies by the game there is no training minigame that can be used to easily grind for them. Each minigame has a chance of dropping a single Zeal upon completion but that is hardly enough to grind for. As for Gratitude, completing the Kraken Juggling minigame on the Cove Beach does make it consistently drop, but even a clear on the highest difficulty only grants between 4 and 6 gratitude, which is half of what other minigames gift.
Therefore, if you want to grind for these currencies you’ll instead need to turn to the game’s battle system.
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road – Enemy Item Drops
Unlike in other JRPGs, any battle encounter in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is one that the player will have to initiate themselves by talking to NPCs with battle icons over their head. Winning a battle will cause the enemy to drop various items, with each encounter having a primary drop that you can grind. Beating an enemy on their highest difficulty will drop the same amount of currency as you would get from completing a training minigame making it the best way to grind for tokens like Gratitude and Steal. Below is a table of every enemy in the game as well as what items they drop
Warning: If you recruit a player to your team, you will be unable to battle them again unless you kick them off your team.
