Early on in Cai’s story in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, the player will be scavening for any renown at all. Because Cai is a small country boy, he starts with no renown as only his childhood friends as allies. Luckily, there are plenty of people to help out around the city. Doing these side quests won’t instantly give the player enough renown to recruit units, but it’ll help you get there eventually. One of these quests, The Missing Granddaughter, asks the player to find a lost child with only a singular hint. The Missing Granddaughter Walkthrough
The Missing Granddaughter quest will spawn at the start of the 4th chapter of Cai’s story, on 3/1, and will expire on 3/7, just before the next main story quest begins. Speak to the old woman next to the quest board in Dagison to begin the quest.
This old woman will talk to you about how her Granddaughter loves the arena and how she has run off on her own. Worried that a young girl like her might get kidnapped by bandits or something worse while in the big city, she asks you to find her.
Finding her granddaughter isn’t too hard as we were told that she loves the arena. To the east of the Arena’s main entrance, you’ll find a pile of barrels and you’ll find the lost girl. Speak to her and she’ll immediately return to her grandmother.
Speak to the grandmother again to turn in your quest and receive your reward. This quest will reward you with 1,500 Gold and 100 Renown, making it the best quest for gaining renown during this chapter of the game.
