Orchel’s clan in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is one of the most interesting ones in the game. Because they don’t get as much focus as the game’s main clans their role in the story and relationships remain a mystery for most of the game. Despite that, there’s nothing stopping the player from snatching Orchel’s friends away from her and making them join your party. Once character who players are sure to try and scoop up as soon as possible is the terrifying/cute Ninae. If you want this memorable character in your party as soon as possible, please feel free to use this guide on how to recruit Ninae in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave

How to Recruit Ninae in Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave

Every unit’s recruitment requirements varies depending on your route in order to make sure you don’t rely on the same party for all characters. Some protagonists can get Ninae relatively early while others will need to wait quite a while to get her. Here are her recruitment requirements across all four routes.

RouteSupport RequirementRenown RequirementSpecial Requirement
Cai36Bring Ninae 1 Paradise Fish
Leda38Bring Ninae 1 Paradise Fish
Theodora36Bring Ninae 1 Paradise Fish
Dietrich38Bring Ninae 1 Paradise Fish

No character will be able to snatch Ninae away from Orchel’s clan until after the gladiator games preliminary rounds end, but Cai and Theodora will be able to recruit her before the first main match begins.

Ninae will require you to reach Support level 3 between her and you protagonist before she will join their clan. By the time you are able to recruit her you’ll have access to both the Theater and lvl 2 Meals to help speed up that process, but it won’t help to give her some gifts too. Ninae is generally a fan of flowers and paintings so if you have any of those on hand give them to her.

The real tricky part of recruiting Ninae is the item she asks for as payment. Despite saying she doesn’t need payment, she asks for a rare item that you only have a random chance of ever encountering: A Paradise Fish. These fish are a rare material that can be found via searching one specific pond on the map.

So let’s go grab a Paradise Fish. You’ll be able to find these fish in Lake Brontes near the southern edge of the continent. They are a rare material drop and while you may think save scumming until you get one is the play here, sadly that won’t work. I experimented myself and it seems that the game’s RNG pre-loads at least 10 turns worth of searching. You’re just going to have to hope you get lucky on this one.

Once you’ve gotten a Paradise FIsh, make your way back to Ninae in Dagison to finally recruit her into your party. Her personally ability is a useful one which grant her +10 avoid if a foe is using magic against her.
