Puuun…

During Chapter 3 of the main story the party will run across Plue and be told that if you can find some of his copies in The Field, you can exchange them for various Lacrima and other rewards. You’ll find your first Plue immediately after talking to him outside of the Fairy Tail guild hall.

In order to make your search for the Plue easier, defeat Area Bosses scattered around the field. Each defeated Area Boss will reveal the location of several Plue on your map.

I Spy a Plue

To unlock this trophy you must find all 80 Plue hiding in the game’s Field. This is a tremendous task even if you reveal their locations on the map by beating Field Bosses as you’ll likely need to continuously backtrack to older areas of the game.

For a visual guide on where to find all the Plue, please watch the embedded video below.

Memoirs of a Formidable Foe

Starting in Chapter 4 of the story, various Memos will spawn across the game’s Field. Collecting all of these Memos will unlock Irene’s Extreme Magic summon for the player to use.

The last memo will however not spawn in the Field, in order to get this last memo the player must collect all the previous ones and then talk to Levy in the Fairy Tail guild hall to obtain a quest which will involve collecting the final memo.

Battle-Related Achievements

100 Year Quest START!

Magic Origin Unlocked

Magic to the Max

Unlocks upon filling out 50 Origins in a character’s skill tree, should be unlocked naturally around chapter 6 of the game.

Growth as a Mage

Requires grinding to any character max level, by the time you have defeated all area bosses for the “Continent Conqueror” trophy you will likely be around lvl 83. To grind the remaining levels, travel to the upper sections of the Zonia region and grind against Magic Circle enemies.

This will take a while at first, but once you reach lvl 88 you will be able to defeat these enemies without even entering battle without receiving any EXP loss. Grinding to lvl 100 with this method should only take an hour.

Working Together

Whenever you break the shield meter of a boss or late-game enemy, you will be able to perform a Unison Raid attack between the character you are controlling and another character currently in battle. Simply do one with all ten party members to earn this trophy.

While most character combinations simply produce a generic attack animations when performing a Unison Raid, certain pairs get a unique animation. Check out the video below for all the pairs with unique Unison Raid attacks.

Strength of Bonds

Extreme Magic unlocks when fighting the boss of Chapter 2 of the story. This mechanic is a special type of attack where the player will be able to summon a character to help them in battle.

Extreme Magic charges on a time-based meter which fills as you battle enemies. Most Extreme Magic summons also require your Fairy Rank to be charged a certain amount to use.

The Ultimate Bond

This trophy requires the player to use all Extreme Magic in the game. Most Extreme Magic will unlock naturally as the player completes the main story and bonus chapters, but there is one that requires completing a certain side quest to unlock.

To unlock and use Irene’s Extreme Magic, the player must find and collect all Memos scattered around the world for the “Memoirs of a Formidable Foe” trophy and bring them back to Levy at the Fairy Tail guildhall.

For a look at all Extreme Magics in the game, please check the video below.

Beyond Awakening

Awakenings and Mode Changes are special skills that can be activated by pressing the L3 button on the controller. This trophy should naturally unlock as the player grinds to lvl 100 for the “Growth as a Mage” trophy.

If it hasn’t unlocked, check your skill tress as one character is likely missing an ether crystal to unlock theirs. If they are, simply travel to a crystal in the Field to find the ether they need to buy this skill.

Strength in Friends

Support Characters are party members who do not actively fight but will still occasionally pop into battle to either attack enemies or support your team. Most support characters are required to use at one point in the story, with the sole exception of Ichiya.

If you are missing this trophy, you likely haven’t used Ichiya in battle. Add him to the party and wait for him to use his skill to unlock this trophy.

Exchanging Lacrima

Exchange Lacrima materials with any merchant in the field to obtain this trophy. These materials can be obtained from breaking crystals or defeating enemies at Magic Pools.

All Fired Up

Using SP in battle will slowly fill your Fairy Rank meter. This meter allows you to have more SP at a time for attacks and allows you to summon better Extreme Magic spells. Once it fills all the way this trophy will be yours.

This trophy will likely naturally unlock throughout the course of the game, but if it doesn’t merchants sell items to increase your Fairy Rank meter, spam these to unlock the trophy.

Regional Conqueror

Each area of the game has several optional bosses that appear as an imp-looking icon on your map. Defeating these optional bosses will reveal the location of some Plue, Crystals, and Memos on your map. Defeating your first Area Boss will earn you this trophy.
