Duskfade is a game that wears its action game-inspirations on its sleeve, and like many other games in this genre the player will need to collect heart pieces in order to raise their maximum health. For every three heart pieces the player finds during their playthrough, their health bar will raise by another segment. This makes Clock Heart Pieces one of the most valuable and rarest collectibles to find. If you want to reach maximum health as soon as possible or are simply having trouble finding a single item, please follow this guide on where to find all Clock Heart Pieces in Duskfade.
All Clock Heart Piece Locations in Duskfade
There are twelve Clock Heart Pieces hidden throughout Duskfade, allowing you to upgrade your maximum health bar four times throughout the game. No stage has more than a single Heart Piece inside of it, meaning that more than half of the game’s stages have them. Below is a list detailing all of the game’s heart pieces in order.
Erazus Forest Clock Heart Piece
To the left of the area’s fast travel point, you’ll see a broken piece of the fence and a ledge with items on the other side. With a double jump and a mid-air roll for extra distance, you can reach this ledge for a brief linear platforming and combat segment. Reach the end of the cavern and you’ll find a treasure chest with a Clock Heart Piece in it.
Scorched Grove Clock Heart Piece
After reaching the first piece of non-rooftop ground after the stage’s second checkpoint, walk to the left edge and turn your camera down to spot a small path. Jump down here and you’ll find a treasure chest with the next Clock Heart Piece
Starstone Mine Clock Heart Piece
This heart piece is located directly above the stage’s second checkpoint, however you’ll need to wait until you clear the segment of the stage after the checkpoint in order to reach it. After reaching a further part of the stage, the bouncy plant next to this checkpoint will bloom. This will let you bounce up to the arch above it in order to cross it and reach the chest with the Clock Heart Piece.
Meridian Village Clock Heart Piece
To the right of this area’s fast travel point you’ll see a building that you can jump on top of. From here, traverse the platforms until you reach the top of the eastern cliffside. Here there will be a series of grapple points that will lead you slightly north until you’re back on land. Fight the enemies in this area to make a bouncy plant spawn, jump on it to reach the treasure chest that this Clock Heart Piece is in.
Lantern Port Clock Heart Piece
You won’t be able to get the Heart Piece in this area until AFTER you obtain the Pendulum from the Apprentice’s Wing stage. Once you have it, platform across the islands to the left of the Lantern Port fast travel point until you reach this buried chest. Inside of it is another Clock Heart Piece.
Clockwork Academy Clock Heart Piece
This stage’s Clock Heart Piece is pretty easy to get. Follow the main path until you reach the room where you need to jump across water where two pendulums are swinging and you’ll spot a plank of wood that you can grab onto. This wood will drag you directly to a treasure chest with a Clock Heart Piece.
Scriptorium of the Twelve Clock Heart Piece
The only collectible in the Scriptorium of the Twelve is the Clock Heart Piece that’s located in a treasure chest directly in front of the fast travel point.
Canal Hamlet Clock Heart Piece
At the start of the open town area near the beginning of the stage, you’ll spot a house that you can walljump to the top of. Jump along the rooftops and rocks from here until you reach the balcony of a building in the center of the town, here you will find a treasure chest with the Heart Piece.
Celestial Kingdom Clock Heart Piece
After collecting the Sundial item from Gramps, return the stage’s checkpoint and look to your left. Here you will spot a grind rail that will lead you to a purple door that you can pass through with your Stopwatch ability. This leads to a challenge that’s equal parts platforming and combat, reach the end and you’ll be rewarded with a Heart Piece.
Royal Highroads Clock Heart Piece
Near the beginning of the stage, jump on this rail and use the momentum you gain from it to jump to the top of one of the pillars at the stage’s entrance. From here you can grapple up to a platform that has a chest with this Heart Piece.
Deepthorne Clock Heart Piece
You won’t be able to get this Heart Piece until AFTER you obtain the Wings from the Clockmaker’s Rest stage. Once you have them, backtrack all the way back to the lake with spinning gears near the start of the Deepthorne. Here, you will be able to jump to a ledge where to will find several boost rings that you can fly to. They will lead directly to a Heart Piece.
Stonetusk Canyon Clock Heart Piece
After crossing the spinning gear platforms, you’ll notice another gear to your left. Hit it and board the platform it brings down, then use the bouncy flower and nearby grapple point to reach the top of the cliff. From here, cross the bridge and you’ll find a treasure chest containing another Heart Piece.
