Whether you are looking to clear the Liberty Falls Easter Egg Quest or just want a free wonder weapon to play with crafting the Jet Gun is a great way to start Liberty Falls.
It’s an exceedingly powerful wonder weapon and for my money one of the best ever created, seeing it return for Black Ops 6 is a joy.
The Jet Gun never runs out of ammo, though it does have a tendency to overheat so keep an eye on the counter all the same.
It’s primary fire mode sucks in (and instantly kills) all nearby regular zombies and pests as well as salvage, armor plates, lethal and tactical equipment.
It can also be used to suck up various Easter Egg items around the map. Hint hint.
It’s alt-fire let’s out a massive damage fiery blast in a wide area around you at the cost of instantly overheating the weapon.
The overheating can seem to last forever in the heat of battle so make sure to start running and have a decent backup gun.
When you start Liberty Falls you’ll spawn on a rooftop facing a rundown motel. The crafting table for the Jet Gun is in one of the rooms on the second floor of that motel.
Head up there round 1 because as soon as you come near the door a handful of zombies will burst out and you’ll be able to scoop up some easy points.
You can interact with the table to get an audio cue about it but it’s not required. You’re going to need three parts to craft this wonder weapon, as per usual.
The Gauge
The first one you should grab at as low a round as possible. It’s in the bowling alley. Head in there and locate a panel on the wall directly opposite the ammo cache and mystery box spawn. Knife or shoot the panel to open it up.
Next Head to Washington Ave where Speed Cola is located and find the flower shop. Just outside of the door to that shop you’ll see a little water spigot with a valve attached. Interact with the valve to pick it up.
Head back to the bowling alley and Interact with the opened panel to attach the valve. Hold interact on the attached valve to start building water pressure. This will take some time and will spawn in additional event zombies while you do it.
You should be able to kill them in groups and get some time on the valve in-between waves. Try to use decoys, smoke grenades etc. or have teammates handle the zombies (it’s easy to get overwhelmed if you’re all together though).
You have to stay in the bowling alley until the water pressure is fully built up or it starts to dissipate. If it fully dissipates you have to start this step over.
Once it is fully pressurized a gout of flames will shoot our and with it our first part, the water pressure gauge. Collect it and head to the cemetery.
The Handbrake
There is a special zombie that only spawns in the church graveyard. He’ll have the title Groundskeeper over his head and be dressed as shown here.
Kill him and pick up the key he drops, not to be confused with the loot keys dropped by other enemies.
If you can, try to time this step with a spider round as that way he’ll be easy to spot. He has a tendency to blend into hordes of zombies and the key he drops is tiny so it can get lost.
Take that key to a small shed located just one door down from the cemetery. Interact with the shed door to unlock it. Inside is the second part, a handbrake. Grab it.
The Wires
For the final part we’re going to need either a mangler canon or a mutant injection. I recommend the former because it’s an utter waste of the latter.
You can get the canon from manglers sometimes (especially if you make sure to shoot off their canon arm) but it’s far from a sure thing. Better to just build one at a crafting table for 1250 salvage and there’s one right next to the shed.
When you’ve got one head to the radio store across from Ollie’s Comics. It’ll have a gate over the entrance that you need to remove.
Shoot it with the mangler canon. Inside you’ll find a number of debris piles you can interact with. Do so until you find the one that contains the final piece, the wires.
Head back to the motel room and interact with the crafting table there to get your free Jet Gun. Voila! Stay tuned for an upcoming guide on what to do with the Jet Gun.
