When the player first starts playing Beast of Reincarnation, they may notice that they only have a few of their own healing items and need to rely on Koo to survive most encounters. While Koo will always be your faithful companion, you can ease his burden a bit by visiting Dragon Vein Shrines throughout the country in order to create extra stimpacks that can be used to heal yourself. However, some of these shrines can be a bit difficult to find. If you want to quickly gather all of the shrines in each stage or just want to double check that you’ve gotten them all before you move on, then feel free to use this guide detailing the location of every Dragon Vein Shrine in Beast of Reincarnation.

All Dragon Vein Shrine Locations in Beast of Reincarnation

There are 40 different Dragon Vein Shrines in Beast of Reincarnation. Visting your first shrine will grant you an additional stimpack that you can use to heal yourself during combat, but for each additional Stimpack upgrade you’ll need to visit ten different shrines, with the maximum Stimpack upgrade being granted if you visit every shrine in the game.

Below is a list with images detailing the locations of every shrine in the game. Please note that the game’s first stage, the Ogouchi Buffer Zone, doesn’t have any shrines.

Ancient Civilization Zone Shrine Locations

The Ancient Civilization Zone has only three different shrines scattered throughout it for the player to find.

Shrine 1

The first shrine in the game is located atop a cliff in the entrance area to the Ancient Civilization Zone

Shrine 2

You’ll find the next shrine in the Reservoir, to the east of the first campfire in the area.

Shrine 3

The final shrine in the stage is located on a cliff to the east of the main path after you exit the Reservoir section of the level.

The Great Wall Terraces Shrines

The Great Wall Terraces is the first stage with plenty of shrines that the player will need to scavenge around for. There are eight different shrines in this area.

Shrine 1

This shrine can be located directly ahead on ground level from the start of the stage

Shrine 2

You’ll find the next shrine in the bottom left corner of the area.

Shrine 3

After fighting the stage’s Ushi for the first time, make your way up the cliffs to the left of the boss arena and you’ll find both a new campfire and a shrine to pray at.

Shrine 4

This shrine is on the eastern side of the map after you jump across the bridge. It’s surrounded by enemies so prepare for a big fight before you can pray at it.

Shrine 5

The next shrine is next to unmissable as it is directly next to the Flower Square: Forefront campfire.

Shrine 6

For the sixth shrine in the stage, make your way over to the western side of the map and use your hair to climb atop some large stone buildings to reach it

Shrine 7

This shrine can be found inside of a warehouse on the northwestern edge of the map.

Shrine 8

The final shrine in the stage can be found floating on a large rock in the river that flows through the center of the area.

Pilgrim’s Zone Shrines

The Pilgrim’s Zone has seven shrines scattered throughout it, many of them being in the cave system.

Shrine 1

You’ll find this shrine on a ledge directly east to the stage’s entrance. It’s guarded by some rats but they shouldn’t be too hard to slay

Shrine 2

This shrine is placed along the main path you’ll travel when trekking your way through the cave on the east of the map.

Shrine 3

Not too far from the previous shrine, you’ll find a small hole that you can crawl into. Go through it and you’ll end up in a room with another shrine.

Shrine 4

This shrine is located on the west side of the Stone Chamber Interior near the end of the cave segment.

Shrine 5

From the western exterior wall of the Stone Chamber, create a bridge with Emma’s hair abilities and you’ll be able to reach a shrine that’s located on a cliff.

Shrine 6

The next shrine is located near the start of the main road through the stage, which you likely didn’t travel down as the main story took your through the cave system instead.

Shrine 7

Finally, you’ll find one more shrine on a cliffside slightly southeast of the Nushi’s lair near the end of the stage.

Matsukawa Zone Shrines

There are more shrines in the Matsukawa Zone than anywhere else in the game, with there being nine in total.

Shrine 1

The first shrine in the Matsukawa Zone is nearly unmissable as it is placed directly in the main path you travel during the story.

Shrine 2

You won’t have to travel far to find the next shrine as it’s on a ledge just to the south of the previous one.

Shrine 3

Jump down from the ledge and you’ll find another shrine inside of a destroyed house on the ground.

Shrine 4

This shrine is located behind a door near the top of the upper Matsukawa colony, there will be a campfire right outside it and an elite enemy guarding it that you must defeat.

Shrine 5

You’ll find this shrine on top of a wooden structure directly above the Upper Matsukawa Colony (Interior) campfire.

Shrine 6

Don’t let this shrine being placed outside of the cube on the map fool you, it is in fact located inside of the Upper Matsukawa Colony, in a room near the top of the eastern side of the colony. However, the door it’s behind is locked by a mechanism that won’t open until you defeat all enemies in the arena.

Shrine 7

This shrine is located on the rotating cylinder in the center of the Matsukawa Colony, you can reach it via navigating vertically through the area with Emma’s hair.

Shrine 8

The next shrine is also on the rotating cylinder, but it’s two levels higher than the previous shrine so you’ll need to keep traversing higher up with you hair to reach it.

Shrine 9

Near the top of the northeastern section of the colony, there will be a room with a shrine guarded by an elite headless golem and two normal golems.

Fuji Frontier Zone Shrines

Now that the game is done throwing huge stages your way, you can relax knowing that there are only five different shrines to locate in the Fuji Frontier Zone.

Shrine 1

The first shrine in this zone is located right at the beginning of the stage, you can’t miss it.

Shrine 2

You’ll find another shrine directly on the main path through the stage, there are four enemies guarding it so prepare for a brief fight.

Shrine 3

This shrine is located on a ledge by the Defense Outpost: Outskirts campfire. To reach it, you’ll need to use Emma’s hair to jump on top of a nearby tree and then jump again to reach the ledge. Be careful, as enemy archers will be shooting at you while you jump.

Shrine 4

Cross the path located to the left of the Defense Outpost: Interior campfire and you’ll find another shrine guarded by an elite enemy.

Shrine 5

After reaching the Defense Outpost: Wall campfire, turn around back the path you just came from and jump down the cliff. You’ll land on a wooden platform that has both a shrine and a Keeper Golem.

Giant Tree Zone Shrines

The Giant Tree Zone is difficult to navigate, but at least there are only four shrines in the area.

Shrine 1

The first shrine in this zone is located inside of a destroyed building near the Ruined Tower Area campfire. To enter the building you’ll need to grapple onto the nearby trolleys and then enter through a window. The shrine is on the bottom floor of the building.

Shrine 2

This shrine is slightly south of the Giant Tree: Feeding Ground campfire.

Shrine 3

On the eastern side of the map there will be a Curious Golem who will task you with riding various cable cars to climb a tower in the north section of the map. From the Cableway – Line 2: Peak A campfire, head to your left until you see a pit that you can jump across. Here you will find another shrine to pray at.

Shrine 4

One you have reached the top of the tower in the north of the map for the Curious Golem, head west and you’ll find an extra camp and shrine to pray at.

Crater Zone Shrine

The next few stages contain very few shrines, giving the player quite a breather after how many were in most stages until now. There is only a single shrine in the Crater Zone.

Shrine 1

The singular Crater Zone Shrine is placed directly in your main path while scaling the fortress in the northwest of the stage during the story.

Starfall Tower Zone Shrines

Starfall Tower is much more plot-focused than other zones in the game and thus has only a single shrine

Shrine 1

The one Shrine in this area can be found just slight left of the main path at the end of the stage, in the same room as the Elite bear enemy.

The Capital Shrines

There are two shrines located in the game’s final stage: The Capital

Shrine 1

The first shrine in the stage is located very close to the entrance, just use Emma’s hair to jump over the sewer water to reach it.

Shrine 2

Finally, you’ll find the last shrine in the game slightly north of the Urban Area: Ingress campfire.
