On August 2, 2026, Type-Moon and Lasengle held a livestream to celebrate the 11th anniversary of Fate/Grand Order. During this livestream, it was revealed that Azrael, a young version of the first Hassan-i-Sabah, would be added to the game’s gacha as a five-star assassin servant.
Azrael first appeared in Fate/Grand Order’s story in 2025, as one of the Grand Servants that players needed to fight in order to unlock the Grand system before the finale. He has since then become a major character in the game’s current story arc.
Aside from the addition of Azrael, it was also announced that multiple servants would be receiving animation updates during the 11th anniversary. The servants who will be having their animations revised are as follows:
- Cu Chulainn Alter
- Leonidas
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
- Henry Jekyll
- Romulus
- Gilles de Rais (Caster)
- Gilles de Rais (Saber)
- Eric Bloodaxe
- Mephistopheles
- Phantom of the Opera
Like every other Fate/Grand Order anniversary, players will be able to spend paid saint quartz on a banner of their choice for a 100% chance of obtaining a five-star servant. This year’s GSSR banners seem strange at first glance, with of the banners being composed of only the game’s Grand Servants.

Similar to the past few anniversaries, in the days following the game’s anniversary there will be ten servants who receive Rank-Ups quests which will improve their skills or Noble Phantasms. While the identities of which servants will be receiving these buffs has yet to be revealed, the classes and rarity of the servants was hinted at via an image during the livestream.

Finally, a seven minute long animation was shown to celebrate the conclusion of the game’s Cosmos in the Lostbelt arc, which ended in December 2025.
Fate/Grand Order is currently available to download for Android and IOS devices.
