Depsite being a game all about traveling between two different time periods, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time actually has very few side quests which involve solving a problem by doing something in both time period. Luckily, the recently released Ocarina of Time Remake has added a few pieces of side content involving both eras. One of these quests involves a Business Scrub in Hyrule Field who won’t sell Child Link a piece of heart unless he gives him the correct password. If you’re looking to increase your health as soon as possible, here is a quick guide on how to learn the Business Scrub’s Password in the Ocarina of Time Remake.
Where to Find the Business Scrub’s Password in the Ocarina of Time Remake
Before you can start looking for the Business Scrub’s password, you should probably talk to the Business Scrub himself first. He can be found in a grotto directly to the east of the Hyrule Castle Town drawbridge. Both Child Link and Adult Link can interact with him upon entering the grotto, but he will not do business with Adult Link as someone bought his entire stock before you arrived.

As for Child Link, he’ll demand that you say a password before you’ll be able to buy the Piece of Heart. Child Link has no way of learning this password, but Adult Link does. As an adult, make your way to the Business Scrub’s grotto, but instead of entering it head for the nearby tree.
On this tree there will be a lingering message left by a fairy who bought the Business Scrub’s items before you arrived. The fairy will brag about how they figured out that the password was “Sell somethin’, will ya?”, a reference to a very famous Zelda 1 quote but with the word buy being replaced with sell.

Once you have learned the password, return to the past and enter the grotto once more as Child Link. Give the Business Scrub the password and then pay him 100 rupees to receive a mostly painless piece of heart.
