After clearing the game’s first world in Duskfade, the player will unlock the ability to reskin their weapon to a different color via the Blacksmith near the Sea area in Tick Town. However, to unlock the various colors you’ll need to deliver Rainbow Ingots hidden throughout the game to the Blacksmith. These Ingots are often some of the hardest collectibles to get as they’re either really well hidden or placed behind purple door challenges. If you’re looking for a specific Ingot or are simply trying to 100% the game, then please feel free to follow this guide on where to find all of the Rainbow Ingots in Duskfade.
All Rainbow Ingot Locations in Duskfade
There are ten different Rainbow Ingots scattered throughout the world of Duskfade, with eight of them being located within the game’s stages. As only half of the game’s stages have an Ingot within them, it should go without saying that no where other than Tick Town has more than one Ingot.
Tick Town Rainbow Ingots

There are two Rainbow Ingots that can be purchased in Tick Town. One can be purchased after defeating the boss in the Prison of the Beast and the other can be purchased after defeating the boss in the Veiled Chambers.
Erazus Forest Rainbow Ingot

You won’t be able to get the Rainbow Ingot in this area until AFTER you obtain the Grappling Hook from the Starstone Mines stage. Once you have that item, teleport to the fast travel point in Erazus Forest. From here, backtrack to the area behind you where you will find two balloons that you can grapple onto to reach a treasure chest containing this ingot.
Mount Cinder Rainbow Ingot Locations

During the segment after the first checkpoint where you need to jump across platforms with spinning flames atop them, look up after the third platform and you’ll spot several grapple points that you can grab onto. Cross the lava and complete the platforming segment that they lead to and you’ll be rewarded with a rainbow ingot.
Meridian Village Rainbow Ingot

You won’t be able to get this Ancient Coin until AFTER you obtain the Pendulum from the Apprentice’s Wing stage. Once you have it, make your way to the second town-like area before the fast travel point in Meridian Village. Here there will be a purple door that you can pass through with your stopwatch ability which will lead to a platforming/combat challenge which requires the Pendulum to pass. Complete the challenge and you’ll be rewarded with a Rainbow Ingot.
Great Library Rainbow Ingot

This Rainbow Ingot is in a chest directly along the main path near the beginning of the stage, right below the fast travel point. There will be plenty of enemies around it so defeat them before you open it.
Canal Hamlet Rainbow Ingot

After crossing the bridge in the middle of the stage, make your way under the arch pictured above and you’ll find a path that leads to a purple doorway that you can pass through with your Stopwatch ability. This will lead to a brief platforming segment that ends with a treasure chest that has a Rainbow Ingot within.
Auric Palace Rainbow Ingot

Near the end of the stage, there will be three large platforms that you can spin by hitting gears. After spinning the third platform, jump on it and pay close attention to the direction that its face as it spins back to its normal position. When it is pointing toward the nearby coliseum pillar that doesn’t have a purple crystal on it, grind on the side of the platform and you’ll just barely be able to reach the top of the coliseum.
From here, simply follow the path of grind rails and platforms until you reach the end, where you will be rewarded with a Rainbow Ingot.
Deepthorne Rainbow Ingot

You won’t be able to get this Rainbow Ingot until AFTER you obtain the Wings from the Clockmaker’s Rest stage. Once you have them, backtrack all the way back to the Deepthorne fast travel point and climb the wooden structures to your left. This will lead you to the rooftops of the nearby town. Jump across these roofs until you reach a pair of boost rings that you can fly through.
These boost rings will lead you to a purple door that you can pass through with your stopwatch ability. This door will lead to an incredibly difficult platforming segment with invisible platforms that will reward you with a Rainbow Ingot at the end.
Desert of the Last Memory Rainbow Ingot

Near the end of the stage there will be a building where you must hit a gear in order to reach the top of it. After reaching the top of the building, turn around and you’ll see a purple door that you can fly to. Fly to this door and complete the combat section within to earn one last Rainbow Ingot.
