While many of Beast of Reincarnation’s collectibles can be sensed by Koo and marked on the player’s map if they wander close enough to them. there is a single collectible that breaks this rule: Lore Paintings. These paintings aren’t directly tied to upgraded Emma’s abilities, but they will give the player extra information about the plot and unlock the Behold, The Truth achievement if you examine all of them during your playthrough. If you are struggling to find any of these paintings, then please feel free to use this guide detailing all the Lore Painting locations in Beast of Reincarnation

All Lore Painting Locations in Beast of Reincarnation

There are nine different lore paintings for the player to find and interact with in Beast of Reincarnation, with there being one in each of the game’s first nine stages, the last few stages do not contain any paintings. Written below is a list with images on where to find the painting in each stage.

Ogouchi Buffer Zone Painting

The first painting in the game can be found alongside a Keeper Golem in a small cave in the northern part of the Ogouchi Buffer Zone region

Ancient Civilization Zone Painting

This next painting will be directly in your path while making your way through the Reservoir in the Ancient Civilization Zone.

The Great Wall Terraces Painting

After fighting the Nue Malefact for the first time, make your way up the cliffs to the left of the boss arena and you’ll find a building with a campfire and several collectibles outside of it, but we’re going to be breaking our way inside to get to the next painting. On the left side of the building, look inside a window and you’ll see an explosive barrel. Shoot it with a ranged weapon and it’ll blow a hole right inside.

Once you’re inside of the building, drop through a hole to reach the ground floor and you’ll find the stage’s lore painting.

Pilgrim’s Zone Lore Painting

This lore painting is located inside of a small cave to the east of the Trail Area campfire

Matsukawa Zone Painting

The next painting is next to unmissable as it is directly on the main path in the Matsukawa Zone.

Fuji Frontier Painting

Shortly after defeating the Nue Malefact for the first time in this zone, turn your camera upward and you’ll spot a piece of scaffolding that you can grapple to. This will lead you to a small cave which contains the next lore painting.

Giant Tree Zone Painting

This painting can be reached by riding in a trolley to reach a large tower in the northern section of the map.

Crater Zone Painting

The Crater Zone painting is located inside of a small cave directly below the Crater: Rear campfire on the western side of the map.

Inukami River Zone Painting

The final painting in the game can be found in an enemy lair in the Northeastern part of the Inukami River Zone. It is guarded by an Elite Golem enemy so prepare for a fight before examining it.
