While you’ll be able to party around with the original characters in Sword Art Online Echoes of Aincrad by just playing through the game’s main story quests, any player who wishes to have their favorite characters from the first two light novels will need to go side questing in order to earn the friendship of your favs. One character who the player will encounter in the main story but will need to do sidequests to unlock is Lizbeth, everyone’s favorite blacksmith. How to Unlock Lizbeth as a Partner in Echoes of Aincrad
Lizbeth’s side quest will not appear until after the player has met her in the main story quest “Seeking Hope” and has traveled to the town of Marome. Once in Marome, you’ll be able to find Lizbeth standing in the north part of town with a quest marker over her head. After speaking to her, you’ll unlock the quest “Helping With Trade”.
If you’ve gotten this far into the game, then you know full well by now that there isn’t much variety in what you’re doing during these quests. Simply traverse the world until you reach the boss marked on your map and fight it alongside Lizbeth. Sadly doing just one quest won’t be enough, as she’ll immediately ask you to do this two more times with her.
After completing all three of Lizbeth’s side quests, she’ll join your party as a partner who can be brought along for any main story and side quests. Lizbeth’s main perk as a partner is her attack buff skill. When she activates this, your custom character will be able to slice through the health bar of bosses within seconds, making her an extremely useful character for both strength builds and agility builds.
