Digimon Story: Time Stranger features dozens upon dozens of sidequests, which allow the player to both get a better grasp on the Digital World and its citizens as well as gain Agent Points, which are used to massively increase the stats of your Digimon and lower the requirements for Digivolution. While most of these sidequests are simply a matter of following quest markers, there are a few that ask more of the player. One of these is MarineAngemon’s quest, which requires you to find clean seawater in an area full of funky water. If you are having trouble finding where this water is, please follow this guide on where to find clean seawater for MarineAngemon’s quest in Digimon Story: Time Stranger.

Digimon Time Stranger – Clean Seawater Location

MarineAngemon’s sidequest “I Don’t Belong Anywhere Yet” will spawn in the Warrior’s Watering Hole during the main story quest “Throne of the Underworld”. Simply talk to her, and she’ll ask you to get some clean seawater from Abyss Beach.

Upon arriving at Abyss Beach, the player will immediately notice that the entire area is marked as the quest location. This is because you can pick up water from over a dozen locations in the area. However, picking up water from a majority of locations in the area will give you “Funky Seawater”. Despite knowing that this type of water is wrong, the game will still force you to walk all the way back to Central Town and start the quest over any time you make this mistake.

There is only a single location in this area where you can pick up clean seawater, and it’s in the top left of the map. There will be an area at a slightly lower elevation marked with an arrow. Go to it, and you’ll find a location where you can gather water on a large golden gear. Interact with it and you’ll get the Clean Seawater you need.

Once you have the water, simply return to MarineAngemon to finish the quest and earn 70 Anomaly Points. She’ll still be unhappy with this water you give her but in a different way from the incorrect water so don’t panic when she yells at you.
