Each of Shuten Order’s five routes focuses on a completely different style of gameplay. The Ministry of Health route send players into a killing game where they must solve a variety of puzzles in order to escape. These puzzles begin extremely simple but by the end of the route they can actually become incredibly difficult to solve withinin the short time limit the game gives you. If you are someone who either has trouble with this type of puzzle or gets stressed out by the time limit the game sets for you, here is a guide explaining all of the Escape Game Puzzle Solutions in Shuten Order’s Ministry of Health route.
Shuten Order – Escape Game 1&2 Puzzle Solutions
There are three types of puzzles players will encounter during the escape game in the Ministry of Health route. Pentomino, Line Connecting Puzzles, and Sliding Puzzles. This guide will serve as an assistance for the first two. Unfortunately, we will not be able to help you with the sliding puzzles as the starting positions of the squares are randomly generated each time you attempt them.
Escape Game 1 – Pentomino 1
This puzzle serves as a tutorial for the Pentomino mechanic and can be solved without rotating any of the pieces.

Escape Game 1 – Line Connecting Puzzle 1
This puzzle serves as a tutorial for the Line Connecting Puzzle mechanic and can be completed without much issue.

Escape Game 1 – Pentomino Puzzle 2
The second Pentomino Puzzle of the first escape game is a two-parter. It’s slightly more difficult than the first one as it will require you to rotate some pieces.

Escape Game 1 – Line Connecting Puzzle 2
Your second Line Connecting Puzzle will also be a two-part one. It’ll still be relatively easy to solve in comparison to later ones though.

Escape Game 2 – Pentomino Puzzle 1
Starting from this point, the puzzles will have some actual difficulty to them as your time limit counts down. Here is the solution to the first Pentomino Puzzle in the second escape game.

Escape Game 2 – Line Connecting Puzzle 2
This next puzzle is a three-part one, but thankfully, the second part of it is actually pretty easy. Just take a breather and follow the steps below.

Escape Game 2 – Pentomino Puzzle 3
The difficulty will continue to increase as this Pentomino puzzle might legitimately take you a few attempts to accomplish.

Escape Game 2 – Line Connecting Puzzle 3
Line Connecting Puzzle 2 is another three-parter and has a pretty strict time limit. Follow the steps below to solve it.

Escape Game 2 – Pentomino Puzzle 4
This next Pentomino Puzzle is the hardest one yet. You may fail several times trying it on your own so try following the step below.

Escape Game 3 – Escape Room Guide
After solving this Pentomino Puzzle and watching a lot of cutscenes, the game will transition into the third part of the Escape Game, which is an actual Zero Escape-style Escape Room. Because this is a significantly harder room than any of the prior Escape Games we shall go over it step-by-step.
First, examine the picture of the cityscape on the right side of the room (It’s the photo on the left shelf). Double-click it to move it and find the round key behind it. Use this key to unlock the safe on this side of the room, which contains a trophy with the number 7 on it.

Next, turn your camera to the back of the room and interact with the LCD screen on your left. This will bring you to the final and hardest Line Connecting puzzle of the route. Input the solution below to solve it and earn yourself a remote.

After solving that puzzle, interact with the LCD monitor to the right of the previous one to begin the final Pentomino puzzle of the route. Like before, use the image below as a guide to solve the puzzle and earn yourself a bottle of paint remover.

Next move your camera to the left side of the room and examine the safe behind the computer screen. You’ll need to complete a Sliding Puzzle in order to open this safe, and like before, we unfortunately cannot help you with this part, as the positions of the squares are randomly generated. You’ll just need to hope you get an easy puzzle via RNG or solve it yourself.

Once it’s open you’ll find a cup with the letter four on it and a key with three pentagons on it. Now that you’ve found plenty of items, it’s time to begin using them. First, use the remote you got earlier on the projector on the right side of the room. This will show you an image of what appears to be math equations using letters of the alphabet. Turn these letters into numbers and the four equations at the bottom of the projection will spell out CURE.
Once you’ve figured that out, interact with the computer on the desk and input CURE as the password.

Once the monitor has been turned on, it will display several shapes. This is actually the combination for the room’s final lock, but before you can translate them into numbers use the paint remover you got earlier on the basketball underneath the computer desk to find that it has the number 9 written on it.
With that last number revealed, cross-reference the shapes on the computer monitor with the various objects around the room that have numbers written on them like that basketball. This will give you the combination 9754.

Once you have solved this puzzle, you’ll obtain a security card which can be used to leave the room. After this, all you will have to do is read until you have reached the end of the Ministry of Health Route.
