Infinity Nikki features many different activities for the player to participate in to obtain crafting materials that can be used to make new clothes. One of these activities is gaming’s oldest and noblest passtime: a fishing minigame. Infinity Nikki currently features 16 different varieties of fish to catch in the large world of Miraland. While many of these fish are common varieties that the player can catch anywhere, others will require them to get a bit craftier and head to specific sections of the map. If you are having trouble finishing your fishing log or just want to know how to catch a specific fish, here is a guide on all the fish in Infinity Nikki and where to catch them!
Common Fish Locations
Common fish can be caught at nearly any fishing hole in the game. Whenever you fish you will always catch every common fish in a pond before the rare fish appears, so it’s very likely you will naturally come across these fish on your own. If you haven’t though, here are the locations of every common fish in Infinity Nikki.
Brushie
Brushie can be caught in fishing spots located in Florawish, Breezy Meadow, the Abandoned District, and Wishin Woods. An exact spot that has Brushie is pictures below.
Bow Fish
Bow Fish can be caught in fishing spots are Florawish, Breezy Meadow, Stoneville, the Abandoned District, Wishing Woods, and the Memorial Mountains. An exact spot is pictured below.
Brusher
Brushers can be caught in fishing locations around Florawish, Breezy Meadows, the Abandoned District, and Wishing Woods. An exact spot to catch them can be see below.
Quillfin
Quillfin can be caught in fishing spots located around Florawish, Breezy Meadow, the Abandoned District, and Wishing Woods. For an exact location, see the images below.
Toque Fish
Toque Fish can only be found in fishing spots located in Florawish. A specific spot with a chance of spawning Toque Fish can be seen in the images below.
Hairpin Loach
Hairpin Loach can be caught in fishing locations around Florawish and the Wishing Woods. An exact spot with a chance to spawn them can be seen below
Whisker Fish
Whisker Fish can only be caught in fishing spots located in the Breezy Meadow. An exactly location to catch them is located in the images below.
Handkerfin
Handkefin can be caught in fishing locations around Stoneville and the Abandoned District. An exact spot that spawns them can be found in the images below.
Combelly
Combelly can only be found in fishing spots located in the Wishin Woods after the player visits the area in Chapter 6 of the game. An exact location to fish for them can be seen below.
Rare Fish Locations
Rare fish in Infinity Nikki are distinguished from the common varieties by having a different color background in the material menu, less locations where they can be caught, and the special animation that plays whenever the player pulls them out of the water.
Most of the time, rare fish will only be caught after every other fish has disappeared from a fishing spot. So if you want to save yourself some time, here are locations we have verified to have a chance of spawning each rare fish.
Carryfin
Carryfin can only be caught in fishing locations around Florawish. A fishing spot with a chance of spawning them can be found in the images below.
Ruffin
Ruffin can be found and caught in fishing spots located in Florawish, Breezy Meadow, and Stoneville. An exact location to catch one can be seen below.
Lampfish
Lampfish can be caught in Florawish and the Wishing Woods. However, they can only be found in moist caved so do not bother fishing for them outside. An exact location to catch one can be found in the screenshots below.
Ribbon Eel
Ribbon Eel can only be found in fishing spots located in Breezy Meadow. A location that has a chance to spawn one can be seen below.
Kerchief Fish
Kerchief Fish can be caught in fishing locations around Stoneville and the Abandoned District. An exact location with a chance to spawn them can be found in the screenshots below.
Palettetail
Palleterail can only be caught in fishing spots located in the Wishing Woods after the player unlocks the area in Chapter 6 of the game. Pictured below is a location.
Tulletail
Tulletail are the rarest fish in Infinity Nikki and can only be caught in the Abandoned District the player visits in Chapter 5 of the game. Included in the screenshots below is the ONLY location Raider King staff could find this fish in.
