During The Past Never Dies chapter of 007: First Light, the player will be tasked with making $100,000 dollars in the Black Market. There is plenty of ways to make money in this area, but perhaps the most classic method is by winning a game a game where a merchant will hide a jewel underneath a cup and ask Bond to guess which one it is hidden under. Of course, games like this are prone to cheating and an unprepared player can easily lose a few thousand dollars here. If you want to know an easy way to win this little game, clear the Cupped challenge, and win the Jewel of Jahari, then please feel free to use this walkthrough on how to win the cup game in 007: First Light
How to Complete the Cupped Challenge in 007: First Light
To start, we’re not going to talk to the man who runs the cup game but rather learn about why we need to win it. Make your way to the center of the black market and you’ll find a stall with a woman calling you over to it.

Talk to the woman at the desk in the center of the market to learn about how a precious stone of hers got stolen by a con-man running a cup game. Once you’ve agreed to help her get it back, search for the ball game at a nearby stall and agree to play (You’ll need $3,000 dollars before you do).
While you may be tempted to play fair and guess which cup has the jewel underneath it the legitimate way, Bond is more then capable of cheating. After the cups have been moved, instead of guessing hold down the L1 button of your controller to activate a Q-Scan and you’ll be able to see the jewel underneath the correct cup.

Guessing correctly will reward you with the jewel, take it back to the woman for your $30,000 reward and a quick clear for the Cupped challenge.
