Most non-sneaking or infiltration sections in 007: First Light are relatively straightforward, as the player usually just needs to follow a set path until they reach the game’s next set piece. The mission Knightfall however throws a wrench in this gameplay formula by asking the player to navigate their way through an office building with Greenway. While this isn’t too difficult, there are a few moments which may serve as roadblocks. One of these moments is the hallway with motion sensors that the player has to figure out a way to sneak around. How to Bypass the Sensors in 007: First Light
Midway through the chapter Knightfall, Bond and Greenway will come across a hallway full of motion sensors that will lock the doors if the player steps on them. The question now is, how do we get around them? To start, turn to your right and you’ll find a box that you can push. Beyond this box is a vent that you can crawl into.
When crawling through the vent shaft, take the path to the left to enter an office. Here, you can pick up the “Office Toy” collectible, but more importantly you can exit the door here to reach the middle of the hallway where there are no motion sensors.
While in the hallway, turn on your Q-Watch and target the Door Controller that’s in an office on the other side of the hallway. Once you’ve hacked it, backtrack to the ventilation shaft and this time crawl directly into the other side of the hallway.
While we’ve now gotten Bond past the sensors, we now need to get Greenway over here. To do this, enter the office you just hacked the door of and use the machine in here to call the Cleaning Robot. This will call the Cleaning Robot to your location and open the door blocking you from the rest of the hallway.
In this final room, there will be a large button to disable the motion sensors. Simply interact with it and Greenway will be able to walk through the hallway without any issues. You have now successfully bypassed the sensors and can continue the Knightfall mission.
