Despite its’ title, the Time to Die chapter of 007: FIrst Light is a bit of a breather after how tense the last two chapters of the game were. Despite this, players who intend to complete every challenge in the chapter and unlock Bond’s resort outfit for use in Tactical Simulation mode will need to replay several section in specific ways to succeed at those challenges. If you want to get through this chapter as painless as possible, please feel free to use this walkthrough on how to clear every Time to Die challenge in 007: First Light

If you are having trouble with any specific challenge, here is a walkthrough for each of them.

Pool Inspector

Early in the chapter, you’ll need to go to the Serenity Space to meet with Lorca. Instead of just walking into that area, we’re going to sneak in. To do this, go to the pool below the Serenity Space and walk towards the wall. You can climb this and hang on the edge of the pool of the Serenity Space. While Bond passes by a woman relaxing in the pool, this challenge will be cleared.

Yogi

Next, we’re going to reach the Hung VIlla by walking in through the front door. To do this, we’re going to need to disguise ourselves as a yoga instructor. Make your way to to the Tranquillity Cove and eavesdrop on the employee here to learn about Ramon’s blue yoga mat that’s being kept in the storage room.

Immediately after eavesdropping on this man, shoot him with your phone dart to pickpocket him and steal his key. Use this key to enter the storage room right behind him and grab the blue yoga mat (You’ll need to read the yellow note on the wall before you can steal the mat).

With this disguise, you can walk directly into Ramon’s villa without fighting any guards and clear the challenge.

Zen No More

While sneaking into the storage room for the ‘Yogi’ challenge, interact with the laptop to change the Tranquility Cove’s music from a relaxing tune to rock music for this challenge.

The Quiet Man

Time for the first stealth section of the chapter. This one requires us to sneak into Ramon’s Villa without a single enemy detecting us. Unlike other stealth challenges, there is nothing stopping us from taking out guards along the way. Here is a step-by-step detailing how to get there unseen.

1. Obviously, going in through the front door isn’t an option. So instead we’re going to head for a cliff to the left of Ramon’s Villa and climb up it to reach the side of his home.

2. Once here, walk against the ledge of his pool until you reach another set of cliffs that you can climb up.

3. Next, we’re going to walk into a small outcove to the left instead of immediately heading toward the house.

4. There are enemies here, so make sure to use your Q-Scan to make sure none of them are looking in your direction when you enter the outcove.

5. Sneak through the grass until you reach another set of cliffs. Climb them and you’ll reach the roof of the villa.

6. Hack open the bathroom skylight, perform a takedown on the guard inside, and walk through the door to confront Ramon and clear the challenge.

Bathroom Bomb

This challenge requires us to do an aerial takedown on the guard in the bathroom of Ramon’s Villa. I already detailed how to do this as part of the “Quiet Man” challenge.

Party Crasher

As far as I can tell, this is the only way to get into Elis’ party. After learning that it’s invitation only, pickpocket a flyer from any of the nearby NPCs either by distracting them with an environmental object or stunning them with your phone dart.

Blanc the Brut

When Elis’ asks you to sneak into the bar to steal a set of keys, make the bartender go away by sitting down and ordering a drink off the menu to quickly clear this challenge.

Key Master

Time for a quick and easy stealth section. We’ll need to steal the bar keys without being detected. Here are some step by step instructions on how to do that.

1. After making the bartender walk away, sneak into the back area of the bar and through the door.

2. Quickly sneak to the other side of the room while the guards’ backs are turned

3. Turn on the hose to distract the guards and walk past them while they’re looking away

4. Grab the keys and walk out the door in order to clear the challenge.

Give Me a Minute

When Bond and Moneypenny are panicking about Lorca’s vitals, just stand around for a minute or two instead of rushing to her location to complete this challenge.

Silent Night

During the “Infiltrate the Emperor Villa” section, the game will give you a silenced pistol. Headshot 5 different enemies with this weapon to complete this challenge.

Panther

Next, we’re going to need to complete this section without being spotted. Thankfully, we’re allowed to kill people here (In fact, we’re required to). Here is a step-by-step guide on how to sneak by all the enemies and reach the roof of the Emperor Villa.

1. Immediately shoot the guard staring at you at the beginning of the section before he spots you

2. Walk forward until you see this guard on your right. Shoot him in the head and then walk to the right

3. While walking to the right and toward the VIlla, shoot this next in the head

4. Quickly head all the way to the right until you’re under the Villa. Shoot this guard in the head before he notices that you killed the previous one and calls for help

5. We can now just walk across the path under the villa. Don’t worry about the other guards, they won’t turn around and see you.

6. The steps of the villa are guarded by a heavily armored officer who we cannot headshot. So instead of going there, continue forward into this small outcove.

7. Using the outcove path to sneak around, Hack the air conditioner to create a smokescreen. Use this cover to sneak your way up the stairs and onto the roof, clearing the challenge.

Phantom

We’re going to transition from one stealth section directly into another one. Now we need to reach Elis without being seen by or killing any guards. Below is a set of step-by-step instructions on how to do this.

1. Wait until the guard below the open window is facing away from you before dropping down

2. Exit the room via the door on the left. Close it behind you just in case the guard walks by

3. Hack the ceiling fan to distract the guards in the center area

4. Vault over the ledge in the center area and then climb down the ladder in the middle of the room to reach the basement

5. You cannot avoid fighting the two guards who are beating up Elis in the basement (They don’t count as being seen), but you can avoid killing them by shooting them twice each quickly in the legs with your pistol to knock them out. Do so and the challenge is complete.

Unlicensed to Kill

This challenge requires us to reach Elis without killing any guards. I already highlighted how to do that in the “Phantom” section.

Wraith

Our final stealth section of the chapter requires us to reach Lorca without being detected. You know the drill by know, here are some instructions on how to do that.

1. Throw a smoke bomb at the guard in the center of the first group of enemies in order to walk forward and sneak directly past them.

2. Turn to your left after getting past those guards. This next part is an exercise in patience as you need to wait for the next guard to walk away from his post.

3. When close enough to this box, press R1+X to make Bond quickly dash to cover. The guard above will begin to spot you, but Bond should just barely be able to get to cover in time.

4. The guard will begin to walk down the stairs to investigate you. Take this opportunity to do a takedown on him. Head up the stairs next.

5. Throw a smoke grenade at the guard to your right at the top of the stairs and then throw another quickly at the group of three soldiers. While they are all stunned, make a mad dash toward your objective to clear the challenge.

Two Birds, One Stone

This challenge appears to have a typo in its description as it requires you to kill multiple enemies with a single sniper shot from Greenway, not just one. Thankfully, this is also very easy to do as it just requires you to tell Greenway to shoot any explosive barrel during this section.

Thief

During the final shootout, Greenway will target enemies with his sniper rifle. Any enemy he is about to hit is marked with a green crosshair. Shoot down three enemies before Greenway himself can and you’ll complete this challenge.

Who’s Counting

This challenge is easy to complete while you go for the Thief challenge. All you need to do is kill more enemies than Greenway during the final shootout.

Marble Madness

At the start of the final shootout of the chapter, you’ll see these marble slabs hanging in the center of the area. Shoot them down when enemies go anywhere near them and they’ll be wiped out. The range of these objects is wider than you would expect so this is a pretty easy challenge to complete.

You Talk Too Much

When climbing the large vehicle’s ladder during the final shootout, you will encounter a guard waiting for you at the top. Instead of shooting or punching this man, just throw him off the ledge. Bond will make a quip and you’ll clear the challenge.

Lights Out

During the section of the finale where Greenway gives you his sniper rifle, you can disable the light towers by either shooting the yellow boxes on them directly or shooting all of the explosive barrels in the area, which will cause a chain reaction that will knock them down.
