A natural part of spywork is infiltrating a location, taking something from an enemy’s safe, and leaving before anyone suspects a thing. Because of this, 007: First Light has a handful of moments where the player can choose to sleuth around and learn about various combinations that will make their infiltrations much easier. While the game will strongly push the player in the direction of these codes, none of them are mandatory and are instead related to the various optional challenges that the player can complete to earn costumes. If any of the safes or their combinations are giving you any issue, the please feel free to consult this guide detailing all of the safe and door codes in 007: First Light

All Safe and Door Codes in 007: First Light

There are seven different safe and door codes spread throughout 007: First Light’s eighteen chapters. Written below is a list of every combination in the order that the player will come across them during their playthrough.

All The Time in The World Codes

Manager’s Office Safe Code

The first safe in the game is located on the first floor of the hotel in All The Time in The World, we’ll need to open the safe in the Manager’s Office in the first floor of the hotel. Doing this will also get us the “The Manager” and “Old School Hacking” along the way and also give us the Cellar Key we need in order to complete the Bellboy Hat challenge listed above.

In order to break into the Manager’s Office, we’ll first need to open the door that’s in the hallway behind the reception desk that’s marked as Staff Only. There will be two maids here, but they can be easily snuck past. Exit this room through the door you didn’t enter from to reach the Manager’s Office.

Once in the Manager’s Office, you’ll find a locked safe beneath his desk with a four digit combination. In order to learn this combination, open the drawer on the right side of the room to find some Wine Tasting Notes. According to these notes, the Manager’s favorite wine is Sacramental. This particular wine is a vintage from 1952, that’s our four digit combination.

Use the code 1952 to open the safe and you’ll not only complete this challenge, but you’ll also gain the Cellar Key.

Laundry Room Door Code

This code is located in the Manager’s Office, which I’ve already explained how to get into twice for the previous code. In this room you can find a note with Laundry Room door code, 1805, sitting on the table.

Uninvited Door Code

Maintenance Door Code

If you went through the courtyard guns blazing, then you likely missed that you need to find a keycard to open the exit door (which one of the enemies you killed was holding). Luckily, there’s a second keycard in the area. On the right side of the courtyard you will find a room with a piano and a locked door that needs a combination to be opened.

This combination can be found in the library of the Courtyard, input the combination 3256 to open the room and grab the keycard.

Knightfall Safe Code

Webb Office Safe Code

While infiltrating Webb’s office in the Knightfall chapter, the player will need to open his secret safe. The only hint they are given for how to open this safe is ““Diploma, Painting, Game, Model”. By following that hint and examining various objects around the room, we can learn that the safe combination is 1493.

For those who want to know the full reason for this combination and not just the code, we have written a full article explaining how to open this safe.

Man of the Hour Codes

Q-Lab Armory Door Code

One of the two ways to obtain a gun during the Q-Lab robbery segment of this chapter is to input a code to open the armory door in order to walk in and grab it. If we go to the shooting range, we’ll find a note about how the scoreboard and more specifically Water’s score is glitched.

With that hint in mind, let’s try inputting Water’s high score, 1324, into the armory door and open it!

Q-Lab Cabinet Code

When you get locked inside of the Stress Test Chamber while stealing a Q-Watch, you’ll find a locked cabinet with a note saying that the code is related to Q. We won’t need to look far to find this code as one of Q’s cars is located in the same room as you.

Crouch down and squeeze between the car and the all and you’ll see that the license plate reads QLAB 4397. Input the four letters there as the combination and inside we’ll find a photo of Q and a certain other important character.

Way of the Future

Archive Safe Code

Next up is the combination which I personally find to be the hardest in the game. While infiltrating the Operations Room, the player can choose to go through a vent in the Archives Room. However, the door to Archives is locked and needs a code to be opened. Finding this code requires us to steal an office key from a nearby NPC and head to the locker room.

Here, the player will find the most evil thing in the game: A math puzzle! Solving this will tells us that the final code we need to input is 1864
