The final boss of RoboCop: Rogue City is the Old Man from the first RoboCop movie. After being saved by RoboCop, he seems to have become RoboCop 2 and wants to destroy our main hero. After the hard battle with this incredibly powerful enemy with a seemingly endless health bar, players will need to decide if they want to save, leave, or end the Old Man. Well, the choice should be relatively simple if you just go with your gut. However, if you are wondering how this choice influences the ending of the game, you are in the right place. In this guide, we will present what happens for each of the Old Man choices at the end and how they influence the end of RoboCop: Rogue City.

Old Man Choice in RoboCop: Rogue City

At the end of RoboCop: Rogue City, players will have to make a choice regarding the Old Man:

  • Save him
  • Leave him to die
  • Kill him

Saving the Old Man

If you select the option to save the Old Man, RoboCop will approach him and get him out of the rubbles after telling Anne that there is one more person that needs saving.

Right after the Old Man gets out of the rubble, some debris falls from the building and RoboCop 2 pushes the main character out of the way, saving him. However, the Old Man dies during this sacrifice.

Leaving the Old Man

If you choose to leave the Old Man to face the repercussions of his actions, RoboCop will just walk away, the robot will start screaming angrily at you, and debris will fall on top of the Old Man, ending him.

Killing the Old Man

For the third, final choice, RoboCop just sticks a bar into one of the Old Man’s hands and rips out his cords, ending his robotic life.

Does the Old Man Choice Influence the Ending Slides of RoboCop: Rogue City?

Unfortunately, the Old Man choice in RoboCop: Rogue City doesn’t have any effects on the ending of the game. You won’t get the “good” or “bad” ending based on this choice. This is more of a flavor choice, which helps the player form their own image of what RoboCop would do.

So, do whatever you feel like doing at the end, since there are no negative repercussions for this choice.
