Once you finish Oxenfree and you realize that the loop continues, you will find on the main menu an option that says “Continue Timeline?” If you select it, you can start the game from the beginning, but in the same timeline as your last save game.
It works the same way as New Game+ in most Japanese RPGs. You get to start the game from the beginning and get to try things anew.
