The Ocarina of Time Remake can be quite an oddity, as instead of being a full reimagining of the original title or a 1:1 remake, it could be better described at a 1:0.7 remake. Everything from the original game is here, but it’s all been changed just slightly enough to throw veterans off. Take the Kakariko Village Cucco Lady sidequest for example. A veteran player may immediately run to the back of town expecting to see her, only to learn that she has now been moved to the entrance of town and all of her chickens are also in slightly different spots. If you’re having any difficulty finding the Cuccos in their new locations, then please consult this guide on where to find all of the Kakariko Village Cuccos in the Ocarina of Time Remake.
All Kakariko Village Cucco Locations in the Ocarina of Time Remake

There are seven Cuccos scattered around Kakariko Village in the Ocarina of Time Remake. While all of their locations roughly match where they would spawn in the original game, the exact positions have been shuffled around slightly due to many of Kakariko’s landmarks also having been moved.
Cucco 1
The first Cucco is unmissable, as it’s standing right at the front entrance of the town when you first walk in. Pick it up and then throw it into the corral next to Anju for it to count as collected.

Cucco 2
Walk on over to the construction site in the center of town to find another Cucco by the brick and plywood.

Cucco 3
Your next Cucco can be found hanging out by the large watchtower near the entrance to Death Mountain.

Cucco 4
Near the tree in the center of town you’ll spot a wooden box. Strike it with your sword or roll into it to break it and find the Cucco hidden within.

Cucco 5
The last three Cuccos all require you to grab a Cucco that you’ve already found and use it to fly over to another one. Such as this Cucco who is on top of a pile of bricks in the center of town. Jump off the nearby ledge with a Cucco in hand to glide to it.

Cucco 6
Next, walk on over to the windmill near the town’s graveyard. Here there will be a fence that you can jump toward and glide to the other side of with a Cucco to get another one.

Cucco 7

Before leaving the area where Cucco 6 is, climb the ladder here and you’ll find yourself on a ledge behind the windmill overlooking the entire town. The final Cucco that you’re looking for is also on this ledge. Return all of the Cuccos to Anju to be rewarded with an empty bottle.
