Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a game with a lot of walking around. The Hawaii map is nearly three times the size of the franchise’s previous cities! Because of that, Sega has deemed to give players a way to make walking around more entertaining: a music playlist! While you explore Hawaii you’ll be able to listen to tunes from many classic Sega games! There’s a catch though, you’ll need to find the CDs yourself. If you just want to listen to some tunes without having to search for them, here are all the CD locations in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth!
CD Locations in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
There is a shockingly large amount of CDs scattered throughout Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Nearly every minigame and prize exchange will have at least two CDs avaiable.
In addition to this you can also find CDs on the ground in specific locations. Here is every CD location in the game. Some of these CD Locations aren’t available until Chapter 8, so read with care if you want to remain spoiler-free!
Border Break CDs
Four CDs from Sega’s mecha action arcade game Border Break can be obtained from the prize exchange for the minigame Sicko Snap. The songs contained on these CDs are “Roukan”, “Catch the Future-Re:UNION”, “Soft Landing Experiments”, and “Rannou”.
You’ll also be able to find a CD containing the song “Ishiyumi” at the Public Park 3 vending machines in Kamurocho!
Hatsune Miku CDs
Two CDs from Sega’s mobile gacha rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage can be found in the prize exchange for Crazy Delivery. The songs contained on them are “Issyo ni utaou” and “Our Town, Our Life”.
Soul Hackers 2 CDs
In the prize exchange at any location of the Shogi minigame you’ll be able to exchange Shogi points for two CDs from Sega and Atlus’ 2022 turn based JRPG Soul Hackers 2. The songs included on these CDs are “Normal Battle” and “Comp Smith”.
Shin Megami Tensei 5 CDs
In Yokohama you’ll encounter a trash collecting minigame called Can Quest. In the prize exchange of this minigame there will be two CDs containing the songs “Tokyo -Dawn-” and “Battle Da’at” from the Switch exclusive JRPG Shin Megami Tensei V.
Puyo Puyo CD Locations
On the beach you can find a recycling center to deposit trash for trash points. These trash points can be exchanged for two CDs from Sega’s classic puzzle game series Puyo Puyo. These CDs contain the songs “Ultimate Legend of the Untrained Demon King” and “A Long-Awaited Spacetime Journey”.
Yakuza CDs
The CD for the song Heartbeat from Like a Dragon: Ishin can be found as a piece of trash on the ground in an alley next to Tropical Coco Plate Lunch. The exact location can be seen in the map below.
Outside of the Alo Happy in Hawaii there will be a large tree with a briefcase in front of it. Open it to obtain a CD of the classic Yakuza 2 song “Kamurocho Lullaby”.
Next you’ll be able to find a CD containing the song “I’m Gonna Make Her Mine” from Yakuza 0 located next to a restaurant named 53 By the Sea near the ocean in Hawaii.
Next you’ll be able to find a CD containing the song “Recieve You – North Star” in a car garage directly west of the Revolve Bar in Hawaii.
Then if you head on over to the docks in Hawaii, you’ll be able to find a CD containing the song “I Wanna Take You Home” from Yakuza 0.
Persona 3 Portable CDs
Two CDs from Atlus’ PSP JRPG Persona 3 Portable can be found in the underground gambling den prize exchange in Yokohama. The songs on these CDs are “Way of Life” and “Unavoidable Battle”.
Persona 4 Golden CDs
To find the two Persona 4 Golden CDs you’ll need to head to the m’HOLD ‘EM Poker club in Yokohama. These CDs contain the songs “Heartbeat, Heartbreak” and “Snowflakes”.
Persona 5 Royal CDs
Two CDs from Persona 5 Royal can be obtained from the Casino prize exchange in Hawaii. The songs contained on these are “Take Over” and “No More What Ifs”.
Super Monkey Ball CDs
There are four Super Monkey Ball CDs in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, but they are spread across two different minigame prize exchanges. The first two CDs, containing the songs “Wonder Jungle” and “Shiny Fairway” can be obtained from the Heaven’s Golf prize exchange.
To get the CDs with the songs “Jungle Cruise” and “PLAY LAND” you’ll need to head north to the Mirai Batting Center. In the prize exchange for the baseball minigame you’ll come across these CDs.
Virtua Fighter 2 CDs
Like a Dragon and Virtua Fighter are linked by the hip so naturally there are four Virtua Fighter 2 CDs in Infinite Wealth. They’re spread across several locations though so prepare to exercise your legs.
The CD containing the song “BEGINNING (VF2)” can be found on the second floor of the Millennium Tower in Kamurocho.
To find the CD with the song “JACKY” you’ll need to go to the south west part of Kamurocho Hills in the northern half of Kamurocho.
Finally you can obtain the songs “Beginning” and “SELECTOR” from the prize exchange at the Sujimon Stadium in the Anaconda Mall.
Nights into Dreams CDs
There are two CDs from the classic Sega Saturn game Nights into Dream in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The first of these CDs, which contains the song “Dream Dreams” can be found as a piece of trash on the ground in Hamakita Park.
A CD containing the song “Message From Nightopia” can be found in a briefcase towards the top of the stairs at the Sesil Cafe in Yokohama.
Daytona CD
If you go to Hamakita Park in Yokohama you will be able to find a briefcase that contains the iconic song “Let’s Go Away” from the fan favorite Sega arcade game Daytona.
Feel the Magic: XY/XX CD
Yes, there is even a CD from the extremely obscure Sega game Feel the Magic: XY/XX in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth! The CD containing this song can be found on a bridge in Hamakita.
Phantasy Star Online 2 CDs
Of course Sega’s longest running MMO has plenty of CDs in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth! They’re not all in the same place though so prepare to do some running around! The first CD, which contains the song “Borderless” can be found at Julie’s Gearworks in Yokohama!
The CD containing the song “Readoro☆KOI☆KOI!” can be found on top of a staircase at Gull St. in Yokohama.
Finally, you can find three CDs from Phantasy Star Online: New Genesis in the Yokohama Underground prize exchange. The songs here are “A World Beyond The Sky”, “Song of War: Against Fate”, and “Song of Mourning: The Eternal Wind”.
Rhythm Thief CD
You’ll be able to find a CD with the song “Theme of Phantom R” from the cult classic Sega rhythm game Rhythm Thief on top of the Can Quest parking garage.
Valkyria Chronicles CD
Inside of the Hello Work building in Yokohama there will be a suitcase next to some job pamphlets. Open this suitcase to recieve a CD containing “Main Theme” from the classic Sega SRPG Valkyria Chronicles.
Sonic CDs
The final CD locations in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth contain “Open Your Heart”, “I’m Here”, and “Reach for the Stars” from Sega’s absolutely iconic Sonic the Hedgehog franchise can be found in the prize exchange for Hawaiian Haunt.
