As you unlocked Strength training when you recruited Alfred, you will also unlock fishing when you recruit Diamant. Once you finish chapter 9, you will get a notification that fishing has become available. You can participate in this activity in Fire Emblem Engage if you have a fishing rod. Luckily, we have found the locations of all the fishing rods in Fire Emblem Engage. So, here is how you can get every fishing rod in Fire Emblem Engage.

How to Get All Fishing Rods in Fire Emblem Engage
There are exactly three fishing rods in Fire Emblem Engage that you can get your hands on:
Modest Rod
You will get the Modest Rod when after you finish chapter 9 and talk to Diamant at the fishing pond.
Though it most probably won’t be Diamant waiting for you at the pond, you can just talk to the person there where the fish sign is on the map and choose to start fishing.
You can only catch three types of fish using the Modest Rod: Charwal, Big-Eyed Sardine, and Myceen Eel.

Sturdy Rod
You can buy the Sturdy Rod in Fire Emblem Engage after finishing chapter 16. After you finish chapter 12, you will unlock the Flea Market.
Once players have finished chapter 16, they will get a notification that there are new items in the Flea Market.
One of them will be the Sturdy Rod.
Supreme Rod
Players can get the Supreme Rod the same way they got the Sturdy Rod. After they finish chapter 21 they will find the Supreme Rod at the Flea Market.
