Duskfade is a game with many many collectibles that the player can exchange at the various shops in Tick Town to earn new looks or upgrades for Zirian. The rarest and perhaps the most valuable of these collectibles are the games Thieving Cats. There are only a few cats in the game, but catching one will unlock a whole new costume for the player to use during their playthough. However, because of how rare they are the Thieving Cats are also some of the hardest collectibles to find in the game. If you are someone who is looking to unlock all of this game’s costumes as soon as possible, then please follow this guide on where to find all the Thieving Cats in Duskfade.
All Thieving Cat Locations in Duskfade
There are five Thieving Cats in Duskfade, with there being one in each major world (Including Tick Town). To catch a Thieving Cat you will likely need to memorize its path and cut corners as they all run faster than you. Every time you catch a cat, a new outfit will be available in Tailord’s shop in Tick Town.
Tailord’s shop is located right next to the Hills entrance area in Tick Town.
Tick Town Thieving Cat
You won’t be able to get the Thieving Cat in this area until AFTER you obtain the Sundial from the Celestial Kingdom stage. After you get the Sundial, you’ll be able to find this cat in a small outcove right next to the entrance to the Deepthrone.
Starstone Mines Thieving Cat
You won’t be able to get the Thieving Cat in this area until AFTER you obtain the Pendulum from the Apprentice’s Wing stage. Once you have that item, return to the Starstone Mines fast travel point and make your way down the path to the right. Here you will see a path blocked by orange crystals that you can now break. Go down this path and you’ll find a room with a Theiving Cat at the end, catch it to earn your new costume.
Apprentice’s Wing Thieving Cat
This Thieving Cat is the only one in the game that’ll be right along the main path, as it’s located one room before the fast travel point. Simply run into the cat to catch it.
Canal Hamlet Thieving Cat
The Thieving Cat in the Canal Hamlet stage can be found in the open town area near the start of the stage. Once you reach the rooftops of the buildings here, turn to the left and you’ll spot the cat you need to chase down.
Clockmaker’s Rest Thieving Cat Location
Your final Thieving Cat in the game can be found just to the right of the checkpoint in Clockmaker’s Rest. Break the orange crystals in the fast travel point room and follow the path they lead down and you’ll end up in the Thieving Cat’s room. Catch it to gain your final new outfit.
