Remembrance Trailblazer
Galactic Baseballer

Together, we can do anything.

Character Description:

Remembrance Trailblazer is a 5-Star Ice Remembrance Support who specializes in using their summon companion (Memosprite) to buff their allies and provide moderate damage. Their gameplay is heavily dependent on their Memosprite. As the first character for a new Path, more testing is required to determine how the Trailblazer will fare against the rest of the cast, let alone how they will compare to other Remembrance characters.

Character Materials:

Trace Material: Memory Plant series (18/69/139)(Castrum Kremnos, Crimson Calyx)
Enemy Drops: Anit-matter Series (68/85/87)(Anti-matter Legion Enemies)
Special Item: Enigmatic Ectostella (65)(Game Progression)
Weekly Boss Drop: Auspice Sliver (12)(Feixiao Boss)

Character Abilities:

Trailblazer

Basic Attack: Leave It to Me!

Generic Basic Attack against a single enemy. Generates 20 Energy.

Skill: I Choose You!

Summons the Memosprite Mem. If Mem is already on the field, restore Mem’s HP, dispel all CC debuffs on Mem, and grant Mem 10% Charge. This Skill generates 30 Energy.

Ultimate: Together, Mem!

Summons Mem. Grants Mem 40% Charge, then enables Mem to deal Ice DMG to all enemies. This Ultimate costs 160 Energy.

Talent: Almighty Companion

Memosprite Mem has an initial SPD of 130 and Max HP equal to 80% of the Trailblazer’s Max HP + 640 (at max level). For every 10 Energy Regenerated by all allies in total, Mem gains 1% Charge. This Talent is shared with Mem.

Technique: Memories Back as Echoes

After using Technique, create a Special Dimension that lasts for 10 seconds. Enemies within the Special Dimension are placed in a Time Stop state, halting all actions. There can only be 1 Dimension Effect in existence at 1 time.

After entering battle against enemies in the Time Stop state, delay the actions of all enemies by 50%, and then deal Ice DMG to all enemies.

Mem

Memosprite Skill: Baddies! Trouble!

Functions as her primary method of dealing damage. Deals 4 instances of DMG, with each instance dealing Ice DMG to a random enemy. Then deal Ice DMG to all enemies.

Memosprite Talent 1: Friends! Together!

All allies have their CRIT DMG increased by 12% of Mem’s CRIT DMG + 24% (at max level). So, if Mem had 150% CRIT DMG, she would give her teammates +42% CRIT DMG.

When Charge reaches 100%, Mem immediately takes action and can select 1 ally unit to use “Lemme! Help You!” on in the next action.

Memosprite Talent 2: Go, Mem, Go!

When Mem is summoned, she immediately gains 50% Charge.

Memosprite Talent 3: No… Regrets

When Mem disappears, advance the Trailblazer’s action by 25%.

Memosprite Talent 4: Lemme! Help You!

Advanced the action of one designated ally 100% and grant them “Mem’s Support”, lasting 3 turns. If this ability is used on Mem, the action advance effect is not triggered.

For every 1 instance of DMG dealt by the ally that has “Mem’s Support”, additionally deal 1 instance of True DMG equal to 28% (at max level) of the original DMG.

True DMG is Non-Type DMG that is not affected by any effect and is not considered as using 1 attack.

Traces:

Stats:

  1. +37.3% CRIT DMG
  2. +14.0% ATK DMG
  3. +14.0% HP

Abilities

  1. Rhapsode’s Scepter

When the battle starts, the Trailblazer’s action advances by 30%. When Mem is first summoned, grant Mem 40% Charge.
  2. Petite Parable

When using “Baddies! Trouble!”, Mem immediately gains 5% Charge.
  3. Magnets and Long Chains

If the Max Energy of the ally that has “Mem’s Support” exceeds 100, for every 10 excess Energy, additionally increase the multiplier of the True DMG dealt via “Mem’s Support” by 2%, up to a max of 20%. So, for the full buff, you’d need a Max Energy of 200.

Eidolons:

1: Narrator of the Present

Increase the CRIT Rate of the ally with “Mem’s Support” by 10%. When an ally has “Mem’s Support”, its effect also takes effect on the target’s Memosprite/Memomaster. This effect cannot stack. – Bonus CRIT Rate, that’s nice. Just make sure you don’t go over 100%.

2: Gleaner of the Past

When ally Memosprites (besides Mem) take action, the Trailblazer Regenerates 8 Energy. This effect can trigger only once per turn. The trigger count resets at the start of the Trailblazer’s turn. – Ah yes, all the 1 other Memosprite, which doesn’t even come out until the Phase 2 banner. Yay.

3: Chanter of the Future

Skill and Talent levels increased by 2 and Memosprite Talent level increased by 1.

4: Dancer of the Muse

When an ally target with 0 Max Energy uses an ability, Mem can also gain 3% Charge, and the multiplier of the True DMG dealt by this ally via “Mem’s Support” additionally increases by 6%. – So you can use Acheron and Feixiao without sacrificing too much. Good.

5: Seamster of the Ode

Ultimate level increased by 2, Basic Attack and Memosprite Skill levels increased by 1.

6: Bearer of the Revelation

Ultimate CRIT Rate is set at 100%. – Well that’s handy. Too bad you might not be getting this Eidolon for a while, depending on how they give out the upgrade materials

Gameplay Overview:

The basics of Remembrance TB are fairly simple: Summon Mem, use Skill when you can, Ultimate when it’s up. Same as most characters. The complexity with Remembrance TB comes out of combat, specifically just making sure you have the right Stats and pair them with the correct team to get the most benefit. Not a particularly difficult character to play but they do have a lot of bells and whistles, so they should provide a decent amount of Support.

Relics:

Cavern Relics:

Best: Hero of Triumphant Song

The new relic designed to be used with Memosprites. Since it buffs the wearer AND their Memosprite, it gives the best value.

Decent: Hunter of Glacial Forest

Bonus Ice DMG and Bonus Ultimate DMG. Both good. Not great, but good.

Viable: Musketeer of Wild Wheat

Bonus ATK and SPD are generally a good idea but just used the new Relic.

Planar Ornaments:

Best: The Wondrous BananAmusement Park

Who could say no to an extra 48% CRIT DMG?

Viable: Space Sealing Station

For those of you who can say, “no” to the above question, this is probably your best bet.

Niche: Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation

Very good in situations where you will be able to kill lots of enemies fairly quickly. Otherwise, go with the banana.

Stats:

  1. CRIT DMG: Taking E6 into consideration, this will probably be the best Stat in the long run so go with a CRIT DMG Chest. Plus, more CRIT DMG means that Mem can buff her allies more.
  2. CRIT Rate: If you find that you aren’t CRITing often enough for your liking, then you can switch to a CRIT Rate Chest, but I don’t think it will be that much of an issue.
  3. ATK: Main DMG stat. Get ATK Boots and Chain.
  4. SPD: Try and get some SPD Sub Stats. You most likely won’t need SPD Boots.
  5. HP: If you have to pick a defensive Stat, go for this one.
  6. Ice DMG: Get an Ice DMG Orb.

Light Cones:

5-Star:

Best: Time Woven Into Gold

This is CURRENTLY the ONLY 5-Star Remembrance Light Cone in the game so, for a FIRST DAY guide, it’s the only option. Fortunately, it’s not a bad option, so that helps a little.

4-Star:

Best: Victory in a Blink

Extra CRIT DMG and a buff to all allies when a Memosprite uses an ability on an ally. Can’t ask for better than that.

Good: Sweat Now, Cry Less

This one provides CRIT Rate which, while not necessarily as good as CRIT DMG, can help to increase the frequency of Mem CRITing. Plus, a flat bonus to both the wear and their Memosprite is always good.

Decent: Geniuses’ Greetings

Of the three, this one is probably the least impressive, but it is still fairly good and will provide sufficient DMG. It is, however, a Battle Pass Light Cone so you’ll have to spend money to get it.

Teams:

The Herta

Remembrance TB can provide pretty good Support to The Herta. Mem’s Skill and TB’s Ultimate deal damage to multiple enemies, which is what The Herta wants, the turn advance is always good for any carry, and The Herta has an Ultimate cost of 220 so she can make full use of “Mem’s Support”. Include Jade and the sustain Support of your choice and you have yourself a wonderful team.

Yunli

As of right now, Yunli is one of the 3 characters who can fully benefit from “Mem’s Support” (the other 2 being The Herta and Firefly). Since Firefly’s team is mostly set in stone at this point, Yunli is probably the best alternative besides The Herta. She does do several instances of damage thanks to her counterattack playstyle, so it’s actually quite viable. Include a healer (Luocha or Lynx) and either a DPS or another Support based on what you need.

Argenti

While Argenti can’t get the full effects of “Mem’s Support”, he gets pretty close. Since you usually part him with HuoHuo and Tingyun, you can also increase the speed at which Mem gains Charge. All in all, it’s a pretty good team comp.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, Remembrance TB is a perfectly fine introduction to the Remembrance Path. They can both buff and deal damage so they can easily provide benefits to most teams, even if the main DPS can get the full benefit of “Mem’s Support”.

Still, as the Trailblazer, it is highly likely that another character will come out later and power-creep them. This is, of course, expected and perfectly fine since TB is free. As such, make the most of them while you can and if you don’t get the new character that supersedes them, don’t fret.

Remembrance TB should be more than capable of getting you through more situations. Also, a note about Aglaea. Since this is a first day guide, I didn’t include her in the list of potential teams, even though she would perform well.

I did, however, include her Light Cone because it is the only 5-Star Remembrance Light Cone we know about, and I had to put something. It is highly likely, however, that we will get a 5-Star Remembrance Light Cone added to the Herta Store.

Basically, I’m saying that the Team and Light Cone sections of this guide may go . . . “out of date” more quickly than other guides. Just something to consider for later.
