One of the most popular characters in Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord is Empress Rhagaea. Everyone wants to marry the empress and quickly ascend to power in the Calradian Empire. Not only is she a catch, but you will also have the most powerful woman at your side as you try to unite the whole continent. Unfortunately, it seems like there aren’t any simple ways to marry her, as there is no proper way to romance her or negotiate for the union to happen. So, can you actually marry Empress Rhagaea in Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord? You can find the answer below.

Can You Marry Rhagaea in Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord?

There is no way to marry Empress Rhagaea in vanilla Bannerlord. You can’t start any kind of discussion about the subject and there is no way to negotiate the marriage.

The closest thing players can get to marrying Rhagaea in the unmodded version of the game is to romance and marry her daughter, Ira. Though you can’t just jump to being the Southern Empire’s ruler, you can marry the rightful heir to the Calradian throne.

How to Marry Rhagaea in Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord Using Mods

The only way you can marry the great ruler of the Southern Empire in Bannerlord is to use mods. The Marry Anyone 1.1.x mod is an updated version of an older, early access mod that will allow you to marry any character in the Bannerlord.

Not only will you be able to marry Rhagaea, but you can also marry any of the rulers in the game and all of your companions. No longer will you be stopped from marrying that extremely powerful companion that you are secretly in love with.
