Dragon's Dogma 2 Release Date Revealed Early

Capcom’s upcoming Action Role Playing game Dragon’s Dogma 2 was set to have its release date formally revealed to the public on November 28, 2023, at 5 PM EST. However, similar to many other PC game releases, the online shopping platform Steam has revealed the release date several hours early.

Fans of the Dragon’s Dogma franchise have been waiting for more than a decade for another installment. This anticipation has led a select few to rapidly refresh the Steam page for the game every few hours, hoping for some extra information. Today that desperation has paid off with an early release date leak.

If one were to visit the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Steam page right now, one would see the date March 21, 2024, listed underneath the game’s release date. With a date that was specifically set in the middle of the month, it is unlikely that this was just a placeholder date.

Of course, even with this release date revealed early, fans of Dragon’s Dogma who are eagerly anticipating the second game should tune in to the Dragon’s Dogma 2 showcase on Capcom’s YouTube channel. While the release date is set to be the big reveal of the show, other new gameplay details and features are expected to be shown as well.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is set to release in 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and on PC via Steam. The game is currently not available for pre-order, however, the pre-order bonus of the Superior Weapon Quartet has been shown off.

This highly anticipated title is expected to be a landmark title for Capcom this generation as it will be their first title exclusive to the newest generation of consoles. Compared to other titles this generation such as the Resident Evil 4 Remake which simultaneously launched on older hardware.
