Armored Core VI Patch Adds Ranked Leaderboards

Armored Core VI Patch Adds Ranked Leaderboards

On December 18, 2023, video game publisher Bandai Namco announced that the upcoming Patch 1.05 update for FromsSoftware’s Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon would be adding a highly demanded feature to the game: ranked matchmaking!

With ranked matchmaking, players will be able to relax knowing that they will be paired with someone of their same skill level online instead of potentially having to battle someone much worse at the game or someone whom they have no chance of beating.

In addition to this, this update will also add an online ranked leaderboard, exciting fans of previous Armored Core arenas who were sad that this feature was initially absent from Armored Core VI.

Ranked matchmaking and the leaderboard aren’t the only things being added in this update, as Fromsoft will also be improving the game’s PvP experience with the addition of new PvP-exclusive maps! No details are currently available on these new maps.

Another feature to be added to this update is the ability for players to personalize their nameplates in PvP matches. The full details of this personalization are currently unknown.

Finally, players can expect new parts to be added to the game during this update. Allowing players to become more powerful in both the PvP modes and during the game’s single-player campaign and allowing players to even further customize the look of their Cores to their liking.

Patch 1.05 for Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon will be launching on December 19, 2023. Publisher Bandai Namco has released a trailer for the upcoming patch to their YouTube channel.

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon is currently available for purchase on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC via Steam. The game is expected to be further supported by updates like this in the near future.
